The Teardrop! It is red, has a rosewood neck, two pick-ups and treble and bass tone knobs as well as volume. It also came with a "whammy bar," but I took it off-a whammy bar on a 12 string-use it once and the whole thing would be out of tune. Nothing fancy as far as features, basic factory installed pickups. I think it was made in the early to mid 60's.Made in the Vox Italian EKO factory. The top is laminated and the guitar is a very nice red color. I THINK it is maple.

I play a Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, Fairport Convention folk-rock/psychedelic style. Lots of jangle, jigs, raga rock and Danelectro "Backtalk" effects. It is a sweet sounding guitar. It is really warm sounding compared to my Rickenbacker 360/12, which has a harder, edgier sound. It is really bright sounding. My only complaint ios that the action at its lowest can't compare with the Rick, but few can.

MAN will it take live playing! It hardly EVER goes out of tune. This guitar is a 12 string WORKHORSE. Have gigged with it many times without a backup and I play almost exclusively 12 string.

I've been playing for 40 years. If lost/stolen I would look for another. It is a solid, sweet sounding, interesting looking guitar.
