Perhaps I am not accustomed to the sound of Mahogany tonewoods but I have to say that this guitar is very quiet. It has a very mellow/warm sound but unless using a pick the base has no sustain. The bare thumb is inadequate. It has a very balanced sound but lacks punch.

I bought this from a luthier-distributor who set it up prior to my playing it as he received it from the factory. Very comfortable neck at 1-11/16. No flaws.

The finish and hardware are top-notch. It is not supplied with a pick guard. I play fingerstyle so that is of no conseqence to me. Heavy strummers would have to protect the finish somehow. I would not use this guitar for gigging or as a back up. I would use a less expensive guitar for that. I would not be able to appraise any guitar's durability.

It comes with a non-transferable limited life-time warranty. The idea is to contact the manufacturer for help. Haven't had a reason to do that.

I have been playing for 32 years strictly fingerstyle. I play with fingernails and thumbpick. I have to dig to get this guitar to talk without amplification. Otherwise, I use a Fishman Neo-D mag P/U and it does okay. As with any mag P/U, the sound becomes more electric. When I bought it I was playing it in an empty basement. Sounded great there. It doesn't in an acoustically deadened room.
