Black, dreadnought cutaway, laminated top, made in China, electronics, equalizer, no tuner, medium feeling neck, about a 16" radius. Standard size frets. Did not come with any extras, but I only paid $139.00 so I thought it was a fair price. I bought a hard shell case for $50.00 with free shipping so I got by with less than $200.00. Very well worth the total.

Sound : 8
It sounds pretty good for a laminated top. Soft and full but not real bright. I put Martin extra lights on and it brightened up some. I haven't really played it much through an amp, so I can't comment on the electronics, but they do work. I play mostly country and classic rock.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The action was too high for me (I am used to playing a Telecaster), but I experimented sanding down about 4 saddles, and finally got it just the right height with no buzzing. The saddle also seemed to be the wrong radius for the fingerboard. It was about a 12" and I wound up with about a 16" after fixing it. The action now is almost as low as my Telecaster. The nut was the perfect height, however I did widen the slots a little. They were a little snug even with extra lights. The finish was very good and the frets felt just fine.

Reliability/Durability : 7
The hardware seems to be OK. The tuning keys hold well and operate smoothly. I will probably play it some on gigs if it sounds good through my amp. I have a Washburn D10SCE that I usually play. It does not have a front strap button but neither did my Washburn when I bought it, so that may be common in lower priced guitars.

Been playing for about 45 years.(Since I was 12) I have owned a Gibson SG, a Les Paul, an Ibanez Roadstar, a deluxe Telecaster, a Mosrite, a Silvertone(long time ago), and a few others that weren't anything to talk about. At this time I play a '92 American Telecaster through an old Peavey Renown amp(Two 12"s and 300 watts) and also my Washburn. Compared to my Washburn, the Walden is not as bright sounding unplugged and the neck is a little wider. About like a Les Paul. I would by another one if something happened to it, but I would go for a solid top model.

Spruce Top, Sapele Lam Sides and Back, Dreadnought with Cutaway and 3-band Pickup and Electronics. Expensive compared to other Chinese-manufactured flattops, but significantly better in terms of build quality, and quality of materials.

Sound : 9
Absolutely fantastic sound for a laminate dreadnought. Not particular depth in the low register, but a crisp, zingy treble with great brilliance, and a full and compressed midrange. Very characteristic Dreadnought character.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Great setup straight from the factory...truss rod was perfect to begin with, intonation was spot-on, and the action sat comfortably in the "normal" range. The guitar was even in tune in the box, albeit a half-step below A=440.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar will definitely last, thanks to the high build quality. The preamp and electronics are the real weakspot here, although it isn't very often that you hear about those failing. The piezo unit itself probably won't cause many problems since it's very well seated and the bridge is adjusted well without using any shims or other adjustments. I just used it tonight without any backup, so no complaints whatsoever.

Haven't dealt with any issues yet.

Been playing 15 years, most of them professionally. I've owned a number of acoustic guitars, and played even more, and this guitar is one of the best ones I've played in its price range. The steel-string that I use for recording most often is a Taylor 314CE, and the best complement I could give the Walden D350CE is that it feels like it could have come out of the Taylor factory, since the build-quality is that high. This guitar is naturally quite compressed in the midrange, so with a bit of a boost in the lows, a touch of compression and reverb in the effects, and a good driving attack, this guitar sounds huge. In many ways it's the opposite of the Taylor (which it should be)...the 314CE's "hi-fi", scooped-mid sound is a world apart from the warm, old-school charm of this Walden D350CE. This guitar is so good that I'm actually considering buying 3 more Waldens!!! (a 12 String, a Nylon Gig Guitar, and a Cedar-topped Steel-string)

A real beauty with the gloss finish and the deep wood tones. Its a dreadnought 'cutaway'. Tuners hold great, medium width neck. Includes a truly padded gig bag, not just a dustcover. Active pickups with 3 band equalizer. An awesome instrument for the money.

Sound : 10
I had to retire my Gibson because of the sound hole collapsing to one side - so I needed something with a full, bassy sound that my SJ put out. This guitar comes so close to sounding as full that I couldn't believe it. The highs are brighter, and overall I can tell its going to provide a lot of good playing time.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Out of the box, action was almost perfect - just a bare touch of fret buzz on the 2 middle strings. In fact is so barely touching, I haven't even adjusted it yet. As far as I can tell the fit and finish are excellent.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've only had it a couple of weeks, but from what I can tell so far this guitar will stand up to anything from everyday playing to gigs with no backup.

Been playing various instruments for 35 years. I own a Dean acoustic 5 string bass, a Peavey Millennium 5 string bass, a Gibson SJ (mid 60s), Univox electric guitar, a Yamaha 76key grand piano keyboard. If it were stolen or lost I'd buy another. I love the deep sustaining tones and the finish. My favorite feature is the sustaining tones. I had looked at Washburn, Epiphone, Fender, and Yamaha. I bought this one after finding out about them and checking out their website. Basically I bought it having never tried one. The price was right and the features seemed excellent and I would buy it again. After playing it, it sounds and looks better than guitars I've checked out that cost $500 or more.
