Satin finish nitro-cellulose, dreadnought body, gotoh type tuners,made in China 2006, 20 fret neck, solid spruce top, liminated rosewood back and sides, abalone rosette and position markers, pure acoustic, originaly left handed. bought for ??11 yes ??11 off e-bay as a damaged project; 3 x 2inch cracks in the top but they are only in the laquer. Converted it to right handed with a re-routed bridge, bone saddle and nut and she is now the best bargin I've ever bought.
Sound

Beautiful balanced sound, strong mids, bright top end and deep booming bass. This may be due to the left handed bracing pattern or it may be the same for all Waldens, I don't know I've never seen another much less played one. One of my friends has a high end Taylor and much prefers the sound and playability of my Walden. He won't swap though, and I am not sure that I would!
Action, Fit, & Finish

Other than the laquer cracks, which I can't complain about, finish is very good, neat and tidy rather than outstanding. The action was too high for me but I lowered that when I converted her from left handed. Neck and fret job well done she now has a low action and no buzzes anywhere.
Reliability/Durability

Must be strong, after all it had something dropped on it hard enough to crack the finish in several places but the impact didn't break any of the structure of the guitar, internal inspection with a camera reveals no damage at all.
Satin nitro-cellulose finish however is polishing to a high gloss on the neck and where the scratch plate should be. Doesn't bother me but might annoy others.

Been playing off and on 35 years, seriously for the past 4 or 5. I own a Les Paul standard, Strat, Tanglewood Super Jumbo, 1972 Giannini 12 string (now that has a story) and several others that I've made over the past few years. Anything I wish I had asked before buying? Have you got any more! If this was lost, nicked or broken I'd be annoyed but for ??11 I couldn't be too upset. I'd try to find another similar project as I am sure the left handed bracing affects the tone.
