Satin Nitro Finish- Real smooth finish, no globs of paints, cracks, just a nice clean, even finish.
Dreadnought with a cutaway- I was torn between the dread and a cutaway. I wanted something to play leads with, but something that I could strum chords with and not lose bottom and definition. This model was perfect for my diverse desires.
Tuners: Gold company brand tuners with pearloid tips, they hold nice and appear to look like they'll last me the life of the guitar. They remind me of Grovers, who knows they might be?
Neck: It's mahogany with a rosewood board. Next to other guitars the fretboard looked dry, then I realized other companies are just spraying epoxy on fancy cardboard and calling that rosewood. I'd say the neck profile is halfway between a Martin and a Taylor: It's not a baseball bat, but it's solid.
Accessories: With mine I received a nice hardshell case, a Planet Waves humidifier, allen wrenches, an extra saddle, an extra bridge pin, and literature that explained the humidity, the Fishman electronics and that the guitar came with D'addario strings. I really appreciate Walden designing a brown case. Just less confusion when it's stacked up with 10 other guitars in cases. Seriously, why would a bar or club want to provide adequate lighting?
It's made in China and designed in USA. It seems that's the popular route with many guitar and pro audio companies anymore.
20 Frets, Solid Engelmann Spruce top, Fishman Classic 4 electronics w/ EQ, Indian Rosewood all the way around for back and sides.
Sound

This guitar gives you a full acoustic sound with a nice, warm response; not too boomy, and it doesn't sound like a tin can!
I've been able to get great results for almost anything from heavy strumming to soft finger-picking. Spruce tops sound better when they open up with age, and I just recently acquired this guitar. The Fishman electronics add many tone varieties and hold up well for both recording and live performance.

My Walden was shipped to me straight from the factory during one of the hottest weeks of summer. I let the guitar sit in my home for a few hours. Once I opened the box I saw it was securly packed. The company loosened the strings and had a humidifier already set up. I was impressed- A company that cares about each guitar that leaves the factory, not just how many they can grind out in a day.
I tuned it up and straight out of the case it played amazing. No buzzing, comfortable action, and solid intonation up and down the neck. I've never in my life had a guitar shipped to my house that played 100% out of the box.
This guitar was sold to me brand new and it came to me brand new! Perfect frets, no signs that it had been played, scratches, nothing loose, the plastic on the pickgaurd, hand tags etc. 10/10 Mint condition.
Cosmetically it is a beautiful guitar. Inside the guitar is very clean. No glue spots.
Reliability/Durability

Like I said this guitar is still new to me, so I can't comment on durability. Live it held up great, stayed in tune, the electronics were flawless, and the playability was great.
There isn't a second strap button on the body, which isn't uncommon, but worth mentioning if you prefer to stand and play.
This guitar gives me no reason to bring out a backup.

When looking for an acoustic, I emailed Walden just because I never heard of the company before. I got a phone within a few days and have received same day emails. So far the company has more than impressed me with it's service. I was told if there's a problem with my Walden they will fix it, but fingers crossed I haven't had a reason to call.

I've been studying and performing guitar for 15 years and it has taken over my life! I have owned somewhere between 25-50 guitars through the years. I've played both the greatest or worst guitars there are. So far I'm very satisfied with my Walden's tone and playability. The company has shown they are a true class act. Anyone who is considering making a Walden their next purchase, I say go for it.
