Features : 10
Pretty much as below - the label in the soundbox says it was designed in the U.S but assembled in China.

Sound : 9
Great for all styles - fingerpicking, accompanying voice etc. As below, has a rich full sound and tonnnes of sustain. Obviously not quite a Taylor or a Martin but amazing for half the price. Tone is bright and full and sounds great. Giving it a 9 only when compared to more expensive guitars.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Beautifully constructed guitar, only flaws were that the action was a bit low and it was strangely fitted with 0.10's when bought from the shop. Also, the strap button on the neck was fitted in a weird place.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Had this guitar for a year and have had nothing wrong with it - still looks and sounds great - would use it in a gig without hesitation.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing over 7 years, I also own an Ibanez Artist and Zoom amp. If this were lost/stolen, I would definitely buy it again. Stands up to guitars twice the price in looks and sound.

Incredible features & sound for the money...a 10.

Sound : 10
This is a great guitar for strumming, flatpicking, or using to accompany voice(s).
It has a HUGE sound with wonderful highs, lows, ring & sustain. I was actually shopping for an Alvarez MD90, but the store didn't have one in stock. They introduced me to this Walden and it was love at first strum!
The neck seems just a wee bit bigger than the Alvarez, but since this guitar wiil be used for strumming, and a bit of flatpicking, I'll be fine.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Action, fit and finish are all VERY nice. No flaws whatsoever.

Reliability/Durability : 8
This guitar does not have the heavy, glossy lacquer that some guitars do. With its satin finish, I will need to be more careful with the guitar. Seems like less lacquer = more tone. A fair trade in my opinion.

As for live playing...I don't know of any acoustic players who abuse their guitars, so I'm sure it will do just fine.

Company website has adequate details about their guitars. Other than that, I have had no dealings with Walden.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing since I was about 8. My other guitars include a Taylor 412 w/LR Baggs Dual Source PU, Alvarez RD20SSB w/LR Baggs I Beam PU, and an Alvarez RD8 that I use at school.
This guitar has a great sound.
I went to the store expecting to find a nice sounding Spruce top, Rosewood back dreadnaught guitar for around $700ish, meaning I would have to save $$ for a few more months. Instead I found this Walden D710 & took it home that day. Will this guitar become a collectors item & hold (or increase) in value...probably not. I will take good care of it though, just in case. If it were lost, I would definitely consider getting another like it.
