Varied grain solid spruce top, mohagany back and sides, wood parque pattern of light colored diamonds around a black ring with similar pattern running down the body's rear spine. Subtle, but shows real craftsmanship for a bottom of the line guitar. Unusually narrow neck nicely bound in white. Sturdy Nato bridge. Mohagany neck and mini grover-style machines and plastic nut and saddle.
Light gloss finish gives the top a sweet clear resonance. The top one mine is perfect-wide grained outer edge gradually getting tighter towards the center. There is a tiny knot about a 1/16 inch in diameter with a swirl grain on the opposing book half.
After 3 years of heavy usage, the joint at the headstock has opened a tiny bit at the lip. No other issues in that time whatsoever. Even after leaving it in the car overnights in sub freezing temps. (accidentally)

The tone is immaculate! Far superior to any other 12 i've played or heard. Never sounds muddy at all like most 12 acoustics. Slight resonance at A that has faded over the years. The instrument is completely addictive to play. The sound is unlike any other 12 and must be heard to be appreciated.

Well made for this price range. A few minor flaws that have no effect on playability. The tiny knot in the soundboard and the neck-headstock joint is messy at the back. No bridge seperation and the action is perfect. The frets are well done and no buzzing.
Stays in tune!!! It's amazing. Added a bone nut that helps the strings slide better-only Elixirs of course.

Added a heal strap button and a DeArmond contact pickup from the 70's.
This is a solid instrument and it has been well worked.

For a 12-string acoustic, they don't get much better sound wise and playing wise. Isn't that what really counts? 2 Thumbs and a capo up!!

Clear Gloss finish with natural front and medium dark sides/back/neck.
Dreadnought Body.
Grover like tuners. (not real Grover)
Neck could be a little more v'd like a Martin if you know what I mean.
Came with a Washburn case that's a few steps above a chipboard case, but not as nice as a good hard case.
Not sure the year, but bought in 2008.
Made in China.
Solid top.
No electronics.
I give it a nine because for the features it was supposed to come with, it did and they are fine.

This guitar sounded awesome right out of the box. I tuned it once, went back through it again and it's been in tune ever since. It has a wonderful bright and rich 12 string sound. If they make a better sounding guitar I'd have to hear it to believe it. I don't think it could sound much better. I really like it.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action is as low as it can be without buzzing right out of the box. I've NEVER seen a new guitar come with the action set so low. The factory did a wonderful job there.
Top and bridge are fine.
Some of the fretwires could have been filed a bit better on the ends, but it's not bad.
There were some finish flaws I picked out right away, but they are on the back of the guitar and most people would never pay attention to them.
I give it an eight because of the fret wire and the finish flaws. Yet, it deserves a ten on the action!

This guitar will go anywhere you can.
As far as everything else? You really can't tell just by looking at a guitar how long it will last. It really depends on the user. I think it would hold up as good as any guitar out there. However I will not rate this part because I've not had it long enough.

Been playin fifteen years. I know a good guitar when I play one.
If it were stolen I'd like to hurt whoever took it. If it were lost I'd replace it.
I gave 299.00 for the guitar and washburn case. Did I get ripped? Nope. Even if it was a little high, which I don't think it was, it's worth it now that I've played it and heard how wonderful it sounds.
If you're looking for a good cheap 12 string, don't buy a Johnson or Indiana, this baby is just a mfew bucks more and wayyyy worth the extra.
