Washburn dreadnought from 2004 or so. Solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides. Glossy finish with ivory-colored bindings on head, fretboard, and body. Abalone inlays on rosette, head, and completely around top binding. Grover tuners, rosewood bridge. Very nice looking but maybe a bit too snazzy for most. Will definitely attract attention and looks expensive. Kind of a bedazzled D10S with better wood and better handcrafting.

Nice, clear, crisp sound. The strings that came with the guitar are Vinci (Washburn brand) and were not very good. Replacing these with good strings made a huge difference.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action was very good from the factory, and the finish was nice. No fret buzzing at all, ever. It does have a very glossy finish. The inlays and bindings are all perfect. The top is nicely bookmatched, with a tight grain. The rosewood is better than you would believe from Washburn.
Reliability/Durability

The D30S is very solidly built, and stays in tune very well. The finish has stood up for several years of moderate play almost no wear. A little cleaning, and it still looks new.

Have played this more than my high-end acoustics because I can leave it out and not worry about it. The kids have played with it, and played around it, without ever leaving a mark. The sound is as nice as any, but not as loud as a Martin. Perfect mid-priced guitar that will likely make it through several decades of playing.
