Really nice finish, not too shiny or glossy, but still very handsome. The wood is really becoming.
A cutaway which turned out to be really useful. The tuners are from Grover, and are simply perfect: the guitar is always in tune.
A really nice neck for an acoustic guitar, really thin and smooth.
I bought it in 2007, and it was made in China.
It has 20 frets, and you can reach the 18th with the cutaway.
It is equipped with the B-Band A3.2 preamp. This is setup with the 22L UST (Under Saddle Transducer) and a 4 band EQ. It's made in Maple and Mahogany.

That's the thing about this guitar. The sound.
Simply perfect, warm, loud if you want, quiet if you need. I've never seen any other guitar which was able to compete with this one.

I hope it will keep on being such a diamond. So far so good, touch wood. I would definitely use it at a gig without backup(and I did!)
I'm absolutely confident that this is one of the best guitar ever.

Never had to deal with them. Once there was a little buzz while playing, which was in fact one of the wires in the inside which was touching the wood. I went back to the shop and they fixed it for free.

I remember when I decided to buy a new acoustic/electric guitar, so that I could record music on my computer. I honestly tried at least 20 different guitars, in 7 different shops. One day, I tried a Washburn - the sister of mine (don't remember the model) which sounded really good, but didn't have the cutaway. They had to order the one, I tried it and fell in love. And anytime I've been playing in front of people, they all said that this guitar had some balls.

Suits my style just fine....acoustic, classic rock......Beatles, John Cougar, REM, CSN&Y, Neil Young.....you get the idea.
Nice volume, good bass response and very well balanced overall. The sound is amazing....it's crystal clear! This thing rings like a bell and sustain that lasts forever!

Well, I bought this from a well known B Stock dealer on eBay so I knew there was a cosmetic defect before I bid on it. I can't fault Washurn for that. I knew what I was buying up front so, no issue with Washburn there.
When I received it, there was a SLIGHT bit of delamination of the headstock right where the nut sits as pictured in the auction listing. In reality, once I had it in my hands, the defect was NOWHERE NEAR as bad as it looked in the auction photo. If I didn't point it out to you, you'd probably have a hard time finding it.
Other than that......perfect! It's a very simple yet, very elegant looking guitar. It has a vintage look and vibe right out of the box. VERY nicely done. A very classy looking guitar but without alot of bling. Had my local Tech check it out and found no structural problems or issues.
I'll deduct a point for the satin finish here. I prefer the gloss but, I suspect the satin finish adds to the tone and the overall vintage vibe. Strictly a personal preference here.

I've been playing bass for over 40 years and guitar for the last seven. Here's a listing of the other guitars, basses and mandolins I own.....as you can see, I've got a sweet spot for Washburn acoustic instruments.......if they were stolen, I wouldn't hesitate to replace any of them but, the Limited Edition is irreplaceable. Especially since I'm the original owner holding the C of A.
