1995, Made in Korea. 21 frets, laminated maple top (I think). Piezo-electric pickup under saddle. 3 way active equaliser with volume control. Maple top, with satin finish. Cutaway gives easy access up to 19th fret. Mid size frets were well finished ex factory. Nice rounded profile neck.

I started learning on this guitar, 2 years ago. I'm primarily a chord and arpeggio player with a heavy right hand technique. I also use it to play bottleneck, and I've got a medium action setup. Full, bright sound with good midrange. Not as full a bottom end as, say, Martin Dreadnoughts, but plenty good enough to add strong tonal colouring over a lead electric player going wild. I like this guitar very much, and every one of my player friends like it, too.

Excellent setup. Good bookmatching on the top. Bridge/saddle setup was perfect, as was intonation. Action has never needed adjusting once set for my style. Nut was well cut.

It's taken sone knocks, and still keeps playing well. It's fallen backwards and suffered no ill effects. Finish is very durable, although there's a lot of scuffing on the pickgurad from my Fender picks. If I were a pro player, I think it would stand up well.

Haven't dealt with the company. The dealer - Harrison Musci in Adelaide, South Australia, have been very helpful and offer good support and advice (Thanks, Jamie). No repairs needed.

This guitar is dear to my heart. I learn't to play on it. I played about 10 Washburns before I chose this one. It sounded better than the other nine by a long shot. It also sounds better than Takamine, Yamaha and Maton guitars. Friends who own these models reckon mine sounds and plays better. I'd never sell it. If it got stolen, I'd be very hard pressed to buy something that sounded as nice, for anywhere near the money
