select spruce top, mahogany neck back and sides, rosewood fingerboard, plastic saddle and nut, has preamp with built-in tuner, xlr and 1/4 output.
the tuner is not chromatic and leaves a little to be desired. it tunes by string number rather than note. however it is very accurate and easy to use.
i've read complaints about the gig bag but it seems good enough to me

just got it out today and with a quick tune up started playing. it gives a very balanced sound. not too much high end, not too much low. country chicken pickin sounded good on it. chords rang out with great sustain. blues licks sounded great.

action from the factory was acceptable. factory strings aren't the greatest and this guitar could definitely benefit from a string change. i get a little buzz here and there but i think the strings/my sloppy fingering are to blame.
the finish on this guitar is great. the woodgrain on the mahogany is to die for. the celluloid binding dresses it up and the cutaway gives it a great look. the washburn inlay on the headstock is very well done.

time will tell about how this will hold up. cheap gold tuners will probably tarnish with time. however the guitar feels solid and electronics seem of pretty good quality.

i've been playing for a little over 5 years. i own a rock solid knock off LP that i play through a crate palomino with jekyll and hyde pedal. i've owned a couple epiphone guitars, a vintage peavey mace tube amp, a peavey ultra 4x10 tube, line 6 flextone 3. nothing fancy but i know how to get good sound from cheap gear.
this guitar falls in that same category. if your ability and wallet can't justify a 500 dollar acoustic this is the one for you. sounds great, feels great, looks great, and all for 200. sure there is better out there but you have to pay for it

Out of the box it never stopped buzzing, so I can't say how good the sound COULD be.

Washburn imports these from China.
The worst assembled guitar I have ever seen. The neck was warped beyond repair or adjustment. The frets were so high that they never stopped buzzing. Obviously, there is no quality testing involved here.

Couldn't depend on it out of the box - think it's going to last?

The worst customer service. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my son. Five months later, I still don't have a replacement. Ruined the holiday, and Washburn could care less.

I took this guitar to the local Washburn dealer who just shook his head in disappointment. This experience makes a good case for not buying a guitar on-line.
