Dreadnought Acoustic with a Sitka Spruce Top , Mahogany neck. Paua Abalone name inlay, Mappa Burl sides and back. All solid wood. Very interesting wood I have never seen before. Looks like a very large birds eye knot all over In actuality It is from the Poplar family. The tuners are 18:1 Genuine Grovers in Gold
Sound

It has a very rich and full sound rivaling much higher priced acoustics I have. Unbelievable. Nothing out of the ordinary on sound Just straight forward good sounding acoustic. I am amazed that they could make a guitar for this money. I am a luthier and do all solidbody items but I could not buy the wood for the $100 that I paid at Music 123 on a closeout.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action is fairly well setup out of the box at the nut end. It does require a good deal of reduction in saddle height The nut is cut very well and does not need any tweaking. The finish is perfect. The inlay is absolutely perfect. It takes me about 4 hrs to do an inlay that size. Must have some impressive equipment. The frets are polished beautifully and perfect in height

Washburn takes a bad rap all because of the association with low prices but I would depend on this guitar as my one and only at a gig anytime. The hardware is top line. Grover was used for all time at the Guild Factory here in town before Fender bought them and darn near ruined them At least they bought Tacoma and have a great product coming out of there now

I have been playing for over 40 years and building for a few. I have owned everybodys everything. I still own a couple of other makers guitars and one custom bass by a great luthier in CT Ron Blake He is awesome I aspire to do work like his
