Features : 8
The tag inside says Reserved Edition Rarewood acoustic. I'm not sure exactly all of the types of wood used. But it is a spruce top and mahogany neck.

I gave it an 8 because they should have made an acoustic/electric version available.

Sound : 9
My band plays bluesy rock, hard rock, metal... But I mainly use this to practice and write new songs on.

This thing inspires me to play for hours. Its bright, chimey, resonant, and has a boomy low end. It seems like the lows, mids, and highs are balanced just perfectly. I don't know if its the wood, the fine crafstmanship or a combination thereof.

It also handles low tunings very well. I tuned it down to open B to play some new metal/slipknot kinda stuff.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The neck is more than playable. 20 Frets. Its thin and fast. The action is also very low (factory setup) and I only get fret buzz if I attack the strings too hard.

Grover Tuners!!! Stays in tune for months.

This guitar not only sounds good, it looks good. The binding is flawless, the frets were pressed in very well. No burrs, etc... Locking grover tuners. The only thing I wish it had was an onboard EQ and a pickup. I think this thing would sound really good through an amp.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I've had it four years now and it has taken a lot of abuse and still plays and sounds great. Las night my daughter knocked it off the couch onto a hardwood floor. I picked it up and strummed an open G chord, it didnt even go out of tune.

If you're lucky enough to find a used one, don't hesitate, just buy it because it will give you years of playing enjoyment.

This thing is a tank and I would easily use it without a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with Washburn.

This is just an all around guitar and its one of those rare gems that you find once in a while. At $400 bucks this was a steal, it could easily rival the higher brands like Martin.

If it were stolen I would scour EBay to find a replacement.

It also came with a molded hardshell case which seems pretty durable.
