The thin body is great, sits nicely against you. It doesn't give out a booming sound, but well loud enough. The cut-away is great and I could not go back to having a guitar with out one. 3 band eq.

Great with some nice strings on it. I always put Elixa's on it and it sounds amazing. It sounds expensive. Crispt but full.

Looks good and feels good. I have it in a black/brown sunburst.

Tough guitar. It is strong and will withstand alot of beating. The finish can almost not chip. Ive had mine sitting on a stand, getting dropped and kicked for about 8 years now and it looks brand new.

Such a nice guitar. I have played many guitars over my years and this I keep coming back to. Its just the trusty Yamaha. I wish it was only about 2cm thicker, so I could get a bit more of a full sound. But overall I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

Surprisingly good acoustic sound for a small body unplugged. Sounds good amplified with aftermarket electronics.

Don't know about the factory setup- bought it used. Action was good when I bought it used. Satin finish was still in good condition.

I got a deal on this guitar because the electronics were dead. Put in a cheap piezo-preamp system and it sounds great. I bought it to play while my Martin was in the shop for warranty repairs and to use as a camping guitar.

This is a great product. I have the "Greenburst". It is greenish/blue and fades very quickly to black. The guitar looks completely black unless you really get close.
The body is thin and great for electric players who are used to a thin guitar. It has a cutaway so you can reach the upper frets. I don't usually play an acoustic that high on the fretboard but you can if you want.
Tuners are very solid, tuning is very good. I am very picky about being in tune.
The real sweet part about this guitar is the sound. The piezo pickup is absolutely incredible. The sound straight into a PA is awesome. Just add reverb.
I have played the guitar with several different setups.
1)Acoustic Strings - Decent
2)Heavy Electric Strings (11's) - Very Good
3)Classical Strings (Nylon) - Very Good
This is possibly the most versatile instrument I own. I have 10 Guitars and this is my favorite. I use it currently for Classical Guitar at Wedding Receptions. I play Classical Music and also Led Zeppelin, Extreme, Clapton, Pink Floyd and other modern classical sounding songs... People really love it. I just enjoy making some cabbage from music.

I am not that picky about this.
Right from the factory it is fine, no adjustments necessary.
It has been good from Hot and Cold Seasons.

I am wearing out the rosewood fingerboard.
I press pretty hard down on the strings.
This can be alleviated by keeping the neck treated with lemon oil or just keeping the humidity around the guitar at a regulated percent.

I don't know personally, but Yamaha has been around for a long time.

I have been playing for 32 years. Age 5 - 37.
I just purchased an APX500 to act as a backup to this.
I have found nothing close to this for value and musicality.
