I went into a guitar shop on Vancouver Island in 1980 looking for a twelve string guitar. I noticed this Yamaha FG 2500 hanging on the wall but it was priced at $1000.00. Well above my price range. I played a couple of the other twelve strings there and the store owner noticed me eyeing the 2500. He took it down and handed it to me and I was sold. I made a downpayment on it and if you can believe it the owner let me take it home and I made payments on it for months until it was paid off. I have never thought it was a mistake to upgrade to this guitar and sorry to say I don't play it much any more but I still love the rich full sound that comes from it.
