Made in Indonesia. 20 frets. I find the neck to be too narrow for my hands (they're big)

Great sound. I got it used for $100 and it sounds as good as guitars that cost 10x that much

I got it used and the person before me seemed to treatt it roughly. So I had to get a few things replaced (just the nut if i remember correctly)

This model is made in Indonesia back in 1983, Indonesia makes a lot of good guitars because there they have mahogany woods. This one didn't make of Mahogany though.

FG-300A has a very clear rich sound. I play folk, blue and jazz and this guitar and this guitar can handle all the styles of music. I've been playing guitar since I was 14. I have Ibanez, and Martin but I still like to play with this yamaha.

What else I can say? It last forever. 25 years already but it is still in good shape and strong. Back up? No, you don't need one.

It of course worth more than $200 that I paid 25 years ago. If I can buy another one at this price I won't hesitate to take my credit card out of my wallet.

It was crafted in indonesia on december 18 in 1983. I cant tell much more about it cause it's not mine, I dont have the booklet and thats it. It' my roomate's guitar but I had to do a review .
It's an acoustic guitar like any of the yamaha fg guitars ( folk Guitar I guess ) so it has no pickups. and it's fine with me since I play with a les paul when I want to plug it in.

I play country or folk music on the acoustic and it's one of the richest sounding guitar I tried in years. better than any takamine, ovation or any recent guitars I tried.
it suits supersuckers, dylan or nelson's song good.

anything is fine ( though I dont know if it has been adjusted in all those years ) I bet people at the factory were happy this day.

it already lasted 17 years and is still sounding great, I would not use a backup ( unless it was another fg ) everything stands in place

I've been playing for 7 years I own a les paul and a jazz bass.
if it were stolen I would be very sad. and I would offer money in exchange of the head of the thief.
