I would lie if I say that it sounds better than a $2,000 Gibson or Ibanez, but I wouldn't lie if I say that this guitar's sound is superb, and it even sounds better than many expensive guitars I have tried. Modesty apart, I have an excellent music ear that many friends ask me about for my input when they are trying a new tune. They know that if there is a chord out of place, I'll catch it, and tell them the right one. This guitar sounds great.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Finishing and craftsmanship are excellent. I have it for more than 1 year and still seems I bought it yesterday. It rarely goes out of tune.
Reliability/Durability

I frequently compare my guitar with my Toyota Corolla. It seems time and wear are unknown. I don't play it "live" because I play for my own pleasure, but I have used it with friends in jamming sessions and they even have swap theirs guitars (Ibanez) for my Zager for playing. It's really a well-done guitar.

I have played this guitar for more than a year. I believe a guitar cannot be judged by playing it a few times unless you are a professional. I have felt that my playing with this guitar has just gotten better with the pass of time. It's like you get used to it. You know it. You get the best of it, and viceverse, this guitar gives you back the best of your playing. I have become a much better guitar player with this guitar than with all my prior guitars. It's a delight to play. Believe it.

The ZAD-50CE is made of a solid spruce top with a mahogany back and sides. It has a cutout so your left hand can go further up the neck (very easy to do on any Zager guitar) . It also has a built in electric pickup with a 3-band equailizer.
Sound

This guitar sounds great no matter what style or player is playing. It rivals guitars that cost boatloads more. I have never seen any guitar come close to its sound in its price range. The action is very low, and there is no fretbuzz from anywhere on the neck.

This guitar surprisingly arrived completely "in tune" out of the box, which is amazing since it was shipped from west coast to east coast. The guitar comes with a 100% lifetime guarantee that pretty much speaks to the quality of the instrument. The setup on this guitar is amazing - it is almost like playing an electric, if an electric was setup with thicker guage strings.

Can't see any reason whatsoever as to why this guitar won't age with grace.

I've sent a few e-mails to this company with questions about this guitar, and they replied very quickly. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't respond that way under any pretenses.
