I have been a musician for over forty years and have had Martin's , Gretsch, Vox, and Gison guitars and pound for pound not only is the quality of the zad 15 up there but also the sound and playability. I recently purchased a Zager ZAD-15 3/4 guitar from Zager. It arrived in perfect condition. The neck work and body work of this guitar was extraveagent. The workmanship on this guitar is second to none. The fret board was smooth and strings position was close, with no buzzing whatsoever. After a few hours of settleing, I began to play on this instrument, and may I say the sound was rich and full. Now it is 3/4 the size of a regular guitar, so there will be a varitation to the sound. The Baby Zager ZAD-15 plays clean and crisp. I play country and folk festivals around the State of Florida and the ease of which I can take this fine sounding creation is amazing. Sounds great and will only get better with time.

The ZAD-15 has a beautiful finish and rosewood top. Bridge is very sturdy and strings placed close to the frets with no buzzing. Tuning pegs were of high quality and neckwork was very good. Will stand up to the bigger brands and surpass some.

This is a great 3/4 size acoustic guitar that fits my small frame and small hands to a "T." For a small guitar it has a full sound.

One of the main reasons I was interested in Zager Guitars was the set-up. The modifications work very well for me, particularly the action. My guitar is beautiful and arrived in perfect condition.

see Zagers website http://www.zagerguitar.com/ez-index.htm for a complete discription. I wanted a good solid,full sounding, 3/4 guitar, and thats what I got from Zager's This guitar is going to be used daily and will see battle, so a solid middle of the unit piece was what I wanted.

The sound is excellent for a 3/4 Acoustic. Sounds better than allot of full size classics. I don't know who is making them for Zager, but they are built to a higher standard then most in its price range. If you play very hard, this guitar will start to buzz, but then again, the strings are cut low to the frets so this would be expected. It is surprisingly full and bright for its size. The string spacing is perfect for small fingers and hands. Large hands and fingers will have a hard time.

The tune Denny put on was great out of the box. The action is very easy. It holds and is easy to tune, the fit and finish is very nice for its price. The inside is well braced and clean, no glue drippings, rough cut edges on braces , etc... The outside finish is again excellent for its price range.

The guitar comes with a bottom strap button, but I removed and install strap locks, the upper lock needed to be drilled and a fitted piece of mahogy inside ( two pieces of glued up and contoured 1/8 furniture grade plywood) for a good solid mount, as the case wood is too thin to support daily playing. It could use a pick guard, I was surprised it didn't come with one. This guitar has been great and I have no issues so far.
