Thin neck but about a 1 3/4 width and strings have been spread ever so slightly for fingerstyle and you can definitely feel the difference. This Guitar is easier for me to play. I am a beginner with small hands the Zad 50 CE allows me to reach frets that most Guitars will not allow. I have no rattle or buzz. It has a rich full sound.
