Made in 2008 in China under the direction of Guitar Center. All of its main features are listed in previous reviews and on Guitar Center's website. I like the cool blue jewel light that tells you the amp is on, and the switchable on/off tweeter, along with D.I. and ground lift switch function. This amp has a lot of features for costing $350. I typically play blues, jazz, funk, soul, and some pop rock. I selected the "traditional" tone from the manual, and I adjust the controls on my bass to fine tune the sound. One dislike i have for the controls is that there are no numbers for the controls, so if i ever change the settings it would be hard to dial in an exact tone.
I bought the amp for the sole purpose of gigging with it, and the 200 watts is more than enough to keep up with a drummer and keyboard player. Haven't yet tried it with a loud guitarist, though.

I play this amp with a rogue lx405B (musicians friend house brand bass). The tone I get with the amp is great, however, there's an awful ground hum problem with the amp. Part of it is probably due to my bass, but even with nothing plugged in, there is a persistent hum. The signal I sent to the board wasn't clean, even with the ground lift on the DI. Again it could be the problem with my bass, time will tell. Maybe there is a remedy, or maybe i will take it back to GC, i'm not yet sure.
hum problems aside, the sound is great. I played a gig with the gain at maybe 1/3 of the way up, and with the volume 1/4 of the way up and it was ridiculously loud. A lot of reviews talk about bass amps rattling windows and walls inside of one's home, but to be able to do the same thing to your drummer's kit is pretty awesome.

This is a new amp, but reliability maybe the only achillies with the B200. Since taking it home from guitar center, one of the metal reinforcings on the corner has come loose, and the silver face on the 63hz knob fell off. Keep in mind this was transporting the amp to and from ONE gig, so I'm unsure how it will hold up over time. These were cosmetic flaws, however and didnt affect the sound of the amp.

its from guitar center with a 3 year warranty. GC also has the 30 day guarantee. I havent had to use it yet, but I'd say that its a good customer support system.

Overall this is a great amp for the money. I play a lot and am starting to get serious about doing small gigs. I looked at many combo amps (ampeg BA 115, hartke 4x10 combos and even some behringers) and a few head / cab setups. This amp is the best of both worlds, great ou put, but no hassle of transporting super-heavy equipment. Cosmetic flaws aside, this is a great sounding machine. And for $349 plus tax, this is outstanding value.

Made in 2008 in China, designed in California, curent owner of old Acoustic legacy, Gutar Center managed to get back the old fame of Acoustic Control Corp in a great way. It has 2 inputs (pasive and active) gain (clip lamp, too) and volume, notch frequency control, 6-way eq and cool blue lamp. It has a TON of power for 200W amp combo amp, 1x15" and tweeter, who can be switched off and variable line out with ground switch. The coolest thing comes as surprise - it's already prepared for Fender pop-in casters.
There is also whole line of this amp as B200H - head; 1x15" cab; 4x10" cab, B100 combo and previous 20W and 50W combo amps. New stuff is coming out shortly...

It has really clean powerfull sound, what can be easily controled with numerous knobs. It sounds so vintage, because of (I think) unintentional very quiet buzz of 60Hz and small hissing sound. It sounds like my Acoustic 330, 30 years old. Apsolutelly great amp for such low price ($350 in any GC and very soon Musician friend).
This amp moves the air, as should do any other bass amp. Unfortunatelly, many of them are just loud, anoying, nice decorated boxes with the price-tag that no one wishes to take it off....
This amp is: "21 century features and power, last century soul".
I love it!

30 days return (GC) and 3 years warranty (AA) with online registration. I still did not use it for a live show. But, compared to other combo I have, this is something what will make many amp manufacturers worried.

I am in contact with GC official over the message board and they put so much effort to make this thing work well. I will not hessitate to ask questions, if I have any. But, at this point, I would like to send them flowers and candies (or maybe 6-pack beer, rather) for making this thing.

Lemme see - 2008-1974=34 years. Right now, I have couple of old Acoustic amps, Acoustic cabs, couple of 18" Peavey Black Widows, own construction 2x12" cab, small Fender combo 100W... I would never buy that Fender if this thing was around. I can use Fender for practice. But Acoustic gets live show, now on. I just regret not having this amp 30 years ago. This is beautifull built small amp, powerhouse and bass players' dream amp. Go to GC, test it and take it home. That's all it takes to be happy bass player. Seriously.
