The B600H Head and B810 cabinet are from the new/old Acousic line from Guitar Center. I won't bore you with the features that you can get here: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Acoustic1.gc
Suffice it to say that it's a competitor to the Ampeg SVT (solid-state) and 8-10 bottom rig that is so popular.

Sound Quality : 10
In response to Thomas Jackson, I can't agree. With all the vintage Acoustic equipment he owns, I can't imagine why he'd even comment on a reissue like this, but he's been spoiled. This rig is for those of you would play an Ampeg SVT (solid-state) and 8-10 bottom if you could afford it and had the back brace to move it around. I played both rigs head-to-head at GC and if there's a difference in tone I couldn't hear it (and neither will anyone who attends a concert where these rigs are played, after the first 15 minutes). You feel this rig in the chest and it's only on "3". I didn't buy it because I'm too friggin' old to move around that single large cabinet (bought their other 410/115 combination wtih the B200H since I play older music where I need a warmer bottom. And hey, who can't use a warmer bottom?) By the way, I've owned a lot of vintage Acoustic Control stuff, too, and no question this stuff sounds different (and why wouldn't it? It's not the same company), but you can still get the tone you want with plenty of power. I call this a best buy for the bassist who wants that Ampeg rig but can't have it. Your ears will bleed just fine with this one.

Haven't owned mine long enough to have a problem. Hope I don't!

Been playing bass 43 years. I own a '76 Fender Precision and 2 Jazz basses, one being a '63 reissue I assembled from components I purchased on eBay. Have played others but always seem to come back to Fender. I've owned everything from the Ampeg 1-15 flip-top, to a bunch of Peavey gear (combos and a T-max 500/1-15/2-10 rig), to an Acoutic combo 126 and a 120 head with a 105 2-15 cab. Plus other stuff in between. I also own a bunch of tuck 'n roll Kustoms in every color.
As I said above, I compared it to the equivalent Ampeg rig and I can't hear the difference. You can get that sound and punch for under a grand.
Sure, I'd love to have that old Acoustic 360 rig that Jaco made famous, but who wants to move that cabinet around? And today's sounds are built around a more trebly bass (hence all the 10' speaker cabs), not one built around a folded 18 horn. But I grew up on that sound, so there you go.
Anything else I'd like to share? Well, stage volume is over-rated anyhow. If you need to get THAT loud, you're probably playing a venue where you're going through the PA anyhow.

I saw that Git-cent has the B600H/B810 in the catalog.
I gave it an honest review as I did play through it and was totally DISAPPOINTED by the cheap casters, poor tolex fit, blue stripe was Antacid pale green. Amp "hangs" over back of cabinet, indication of POOR engineering. The deal breaker was I played through it with volume set full and it was not very loud. Conclusion: cheap, hastily made, ain't gonna buy it that's for sure. Sadly the Git-Center Brain-cleansing cheer leaders actually convince losers to buy this crap. And they speak highly of it on our beloved ACC forum. Just my opinion. A footnote here: I actually own 2 370's, 2 301's(an HB and an HC), a 450, a 140 and 2 406(a wide and a narrow)but know absolutely nothing about music, electronics or anything else for that matter, live with my parents also. Feel free to attack me. If you have the need I will supply my home address so you can throw a Molotov cocktail through my window. I also borrow my parents Toyota Papyrus to transport my gear. I always let my vehicle size determine my equipment choices. BTW what's sarcasm?
Peace and Happiness to all.
