I'm not entirely sure when this was made specifically, but I'm guessing 70s due to the time of the original product run.
I play garage, surf, punk and more recently, sludgey stoner metal. This amp can do all of these things, from sounding fairly punchy and consistent to a wall of bowel-reducing noise.
I've never had to turn this up past middle, even in the +0db input.
That being said, this is a fairly straightforward amp with ample room for tone-control. This is definitely for players who want a loud and rugged piece of equipment for a relatively low price, as the "street" value of these are around 200-300.

Sound Quality : 9
I play a Greco Rickenbacker 4001 copy with modded cutoff switches, with stock Rick pickups through either a Big Muff or Double Muff pedal. I then either run a Peavey 2x15 loaded with Black Widows, or a Yorkville XC808 (and sometimes together, as the amp has both L/R speaker jacks).
I typically have treble at 5, midrange at 6 or 7 and bass turned all the way up on the knobs, with the 2 lowest sliders on the GEQ maxed out, with the bright switch on. This gives it an extremely deep but nasty tone, with all of the natural snarl of an overdriven tube amp but without the distortion knob even on. The reversable grounds keep feedback problems from getting too much, but as I've only ever noticed feedback when a pedal is active in my line. So it's just become habit to keep the pedal near enough to me to turn off when not playing.
The distortion knob is a bit odd, as it doesn't really do much that turning up the EQ wouldn't. I suppose it would sound better with the EQ at more reasonable settings, but I'd rather just run a Muff.

Reliability : 10
This thing is a tank. No problems yet, and it's easy enough to find schematics/user manuals online (and for free if you look hard enough)

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never needed it, and the company is non-existant.

I've been playing for about 7 or 8 years, and my only other amp was a rusted-out Dynacord B1001 that gave me my first taste of ballsy amps (that was only because it was so rusted and downtrodden it was overdriven from the get-go, as the amp is typically extremely clean). This was a natural step up when that amp finally gave out on me, and it suits my current bass setup to a T. Though, I am forever on the lookout for one of the ACC 2x15s, as I've heard them sound even better with them.
I don't see myself selling this for any reason, or replacing it, unless it was destroyed/stolen. I'd be into checking out the 370 model, as it seems to have much more hype, but this is a solid amp.

1975 Acoustic Control Corporation Model 450 amplifier.
2nd Tier amp. Will run @ 170 Watts RMS @ 2, 4, 8 ohm loads, this was a feature of this amp. It has a "tone" voicing Button for Guitar or Bass(no reverb or Tremolo)single channel amp with normal rotary tone controls and a 5 band Graphic EQ. It has a "distortion" control as well as an Auxilliary Volume control(footswitched). This is a fine amp for most applications and @ $205 I bought it as a "back-up" What for I do not know as I have 6 amps already! Very Similar to a Sunn Concert Bass amp except the appointments are somewhat SPARTAN.

Sound Quality : 10
Acoustic Control Corporation Model 450 is rated @ 170 watts RMS into any load from 2-8 ohms @ 5%THD. I use only Fender Jazz basses, stock pick-ups, Rotosound 66LD roundwound strings, play with fingers/feet/mother-in-laws stump. It's loud, basic rock and fusion jazz. The tone controls work as does the 5 band EQ. Distortion control is way cool. Hell for $205 it is an awesome amp. Best used with one large cabinet.

Reliability : 10
