This is the single channel Aguilar AG500 head in a 112 combo format. Master/Gain, 4 band EQ with Hi/Lo Mid, Bass and Treble, Line out, Effects loop, bass/treble boost, and 10db pad. 500 solid state watts, and it's amazingly warm. Most people are blown away when they find out it has no tubes. This has everything I need.

Sound Quality : 10
I use all sorts of basses, and everyone of them sound great through this amp. Everyone that uses it is blown away by the tone. Loud, plenty of bottom, great highs, thick, warm, and juicy tone. I need to add this - I have the GS112 extension cabinet as well. The combo alone sounds pretty good, but coupled with another GS112 it's on fire.

Reliability : No Opinion
Aguilar has a good reputation, and it's been good to me so far.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I hear they are very good. I did email them about a tweeter issue with another cabinet I owned years ago. The replied pretty quick. Never really NEEDED them, so I won't rate this.

Overall Rating : 10
100% best rig I ever bought. I've been through so much gear it's stupid, and this thing impresses me everytime I play it. This is one of, if not the best purchase I have made gear wise. Again, you need to have the GS112 extension cab to really see what this can do. The combo alone is a little short on bottom. Add a second cab, and you'll be blown away. I can't think of anything I don't like. It's a little hefty, but not bad. I little top/front heavy too, but I rarely move it. I keep it in church. I've had many rigs (GK, Eden, MarkBass, etc.), and this one is my favorite bar none. They are rather pricey, and I think being phased out.. You can buy the AG500 head and two GS112's and it's the same exact thing.
