This speaker is the new DB112 in boss tweed. There is no doubt about it, this cabinet still retains the lowend of the GS112,the nice crisp highend, but also has a great mid. It should be great for all styles of music. Its not as transparent as say a Avatar 212, but has much more booty. A nice tight response associated with 10 inch speakers, but more low end. THE CABINET IS REAR PORTED, WITH DUAL PORTS. It has 1 speakon and 2 1/4 inch jacks.

I guess I already covered sound Quality. WonDERFUL!! iT SHOULD BE PERFECT FOR JAZZ,FUNK OR OLD SCHOOL R&B.

There is nothing that want breakdown after time,But the craftmenship that goes in to aguilar cabs is second too none. I would not have a problem not useing a back up. Iwould and will get a 2nd one as soon as I can afford it.

Aguilar has a 3yr warranty. From what I hear from other users, just a call and they will get you back in business pronto.

I've been playing key boards in bands for 45yrs on and off. I've been playing Bass 12 yrs. I currently play a Lakland 4402,& a Lakland DJ jazz. MY power amp is a GK 1001 mark11. I also have a Avatar212 that I use primarly for keyboard. A Nord 61 electro, and a kerswiel 76. I've owned a lot of speaker cabinets. Some of my favorites were a messa 4-10, 1-15. This is my 2nd aguilar 112. My first was a gs series.which I liked but keyboards are not cheep so I had to sell my 1st. This cab will not be sold.
