Same as previously listed. Not sure of the year but couldn't be more than 5 years old. Came with the Aguilar padded cover. It's dimensionally as big as an 8x10 but weighs far less (116 lbs - about 10 lbs more than most 4x10's). And it's LOUD as hell!
The weight is so evenly distributed and the handles are perfectly placed to make lifting easy and the tilt-back wheels make it effortless to move across smooth surfaces.

The sound is absolutely monstrous! Each note jumps right off the speakers and punches you in the gut. It doesn't like to be quiet - even at low volumes it's pretty loud. But it sounds phenomenal at all volume levels...especially cranked up!
The overall tone is warm and furry like an Ampeg but better midrange definition. The tweeter is smooth and adds the perfect amount of definition but I think it sounds better completely off with varying amounts of overdrive/fuzz/distortion. My favorite part about the cabinet is that you can hear yourself clearly whether you're 5 feet in front of it or 300 feet away.

It's survived a lot of gigs with no problems. The cover keeps the scuffs away and it's very solid overall.

I'd rate this right up at the top with the Bergantino NV610 for best big cabinet on the market. It's surprisingly easy to maneuver and just the sound and volume make it worth the little extra elbow grease!

The Aguilar GS412 is a 1200 4x12 cab with a 1" P Audio horn. This thing screams to work hard and has an endless capacity to take more power...it is simply unbelieveable.
I play a broad range of styles and this cab does everything really well..it doesnt have the obvious brightness in the top end that a good 4x10 can provide...but the GS412 deliver full range so well..the fundamentals are all there and the high are crisp and clear.

Running with the Aguilar DB750, this Cabinet and Head are a match made in heaven. The clarity and responsiveness is just amazing. The cabinet is still small enough to move around (with only a small amount of back pain) but can deliver a huge sound in just about any situation.
If you are looking for something that can deliver tight bottom end with fast response, this cabinet is certainly worth a look. It handles plenty and never compromises on tone or clarity...this is a very well desinged and tuned cabinet.

Without question one of the finest cabinets I have ever used in 30 years of playing. If 10" speakers are giving you the bottom's you need and 15"s are too unresponsive...check out the 12" option.
I would definately buy another one of these cabs.
I compared this cab with the Mesa 4x12 cab and I think the Aguilar is quite superior in terms of tone and power handling...although the Mesa is a damn fine thing.
I cant rate this box highly enough

I purchased this cabinet brand new from Musician's Friend. It has 4 12inch speakers each with a 56 ounce magnet. It has a speakon and 1/4 inch phone plug connection. It's rated at 1200 watts. It has built in rear casters that allow you to tilt the unit for easy transportation.

I play a mixture of hard and soft rock, so I was looking for a cabinet that could bring it and not complain. Even the loudest guitar player will feel your presence with this monster. It has the capability of rattling the lower intestines of anyone who gets near it.

I own G&K and Carvin cabinets, but none of them compare to the Ag. When playing, I will alternate between a Music Man Stingray, a Conklin GT, and a Lakland deluxe with this cab, depending on my mood. I have a G&K 700RB head, but I mount this unit with a Carvin RL 1000. This cabinet handles the Carvin head better than Carvin's own speakers.
If this unit is stolen I would definitely replace it.
I believe I will get alot of usage out of this cab. Even the optional cover is very strong and durable.

Large cabinet with four 12" speakers. Has a tweeter with a trim control. It's ported. 1/4" and Speakon connectors. Has built in wheels and handles to facilitate rolling it - the wheels are of very high quality. Well constructed - has a solid grille on it. It's finished with that black sort of felt-like speaker carpet - looks sharp!
It could benefit from a 'kickplate' on the back near the wheels and maybe some kind of slider/rails to make loading it a little easier.

I drive this cab with a SWR 750x. I use a boss gt-6b and occasioally an EBS BassIQ filter.
I play a Hamer Cruise (j-style 4 string passive duncan single coils) and a Dingwall afterburner 5 (bartolini soapbars with demeter pre).
I cover lots of styles - mostly rock, rnb, funk - some jazz (fusion really).
It's hard to over-emphasize the feeling I have for this cabinet. 12's seem to suit me like a glove - they have the speed/attack of 10's with the depth of 15's. Putting 4 of them in this large box with the port like they have - it is just amazing. I have the single GS112 as well for smaller gigs. I've been experimenting for years (+20) with different cabinets - with the Aguilar 12's I have found everything that I need.
When I play the 4 string, it's usually more of a 'traditional' j-bass sound I'm looking for. The GS412 delivers with grace. The low-mid kind of burpy finger style? The GS412 is all over that. Slap? Pick? This cabinet will handle all of it.
When I play the 5 string, it's ususally for more modern sounding hard rock things. The GS412 handles the Dingwall's 37" B with no hesitation or flop. It was a little shocking frankly - you kind of get used to a tonal difference on your low B (at least I have). The Dingwall is an exceptional bass, and the GS412 is a brilliant match for it.

Haven't had any direct contact with them (haven't needed to) - they do have a helpful website. I've had the pleasure to meet one of their endorsers (Gary Willis) and he had very nice things to say about them. He was very credible on lots of subjects so I believe him to be a reliable reference for Aguilar's customer commitment. (If you get a chance to hear Gary Willis play bass, by all means do so - amazing).

This cabinet has become a large part of my voice. Simple as that.
It's large, but surprisingly easy to move (with the built-in wheels). I can tip it over and slide it into my car (a station wagon) with ease - I end up lifting less actual weight than when I gigged with a 15 and 2x10.
The traditional 8x10 ampeg sounds great to me - but I like this sound of the GS412 better. It's more 'pure' or uncolored - for lack of a better expression. I tried the SWR Henry 8x8 and liked it very much too, but ended up passing on it as well - it also has a unique 'color' to my ears. With the GS412, the 'color' seems to me to be the vision that I've always had for my bass - open and, well, colorless.
There's something almost mysitcal to me about how a cabinet with multiple speakers interacts to create a sound that is larger than the sum of multiple smaller speakers (judging from my experience with 1x15 + 2x10 combinations of verious kinds). The GS412 seems to really capitalize on this effect.
I highly recommend trying one - particularly if you play large rooms. Also, a pair of GS112's is an awesome, smaller, rig. Not the same as the sound of the larger cabinet, but very rich and warm in a similar way.

BRAND NEW Aguilar GS412. It was released just earlier this year at the NAMM show. I play loud rock music, and this cab does it all. It handles all the lows, and is still nice and punchy like it's got some 10's or 8's hiding in there! It has four 12" drivers, two fairly large port-holes (maybe about 5" in diameter) and a phenolic tweeter. You can adjust the tweeter on the back of the cab, so you can turn it off if you'd like. It's rated at 1200 watts, so you shouldn't have any problem being heard. I use a Mesa Boogie 400+ through it, and it sounds fantastic! It's got tilt-back casters, two side handles, and two handles recessed into the top/back for easy transportation. Greatest part.. it's not THAT heavy! 116 lbs! The Ampeg 8x10 is 160+ lbs, and this thing is the same size. AMAZING cabinet!

As I said before, I'm using a Mesa Boogie 400+ through this with a 1978 Rickenbacker 4001. Talk about tone! This is one very versatile cabinet. Again, it handles all the lows I throw at it (even the B string) extremely well, and it is still tight and punchy. 12's are just the happy medium! The amp I use is rated at 500 watts (TUBE watts, mind you.. although realistically it's probably around 300-400) and I usually have the Master around 5, and the preamp around 5 or 6. It's loud, believe me. The cab hasn't cracked up once, it's awesome. I HIGHLY recommend getting this cab.

I am going to be using this as my one and only cabinet from now until... however long it takes before it dies! (although I will probably die before this thing does!) As for reliability.. this thing gets a 10 so far. It's built tough, and the wattage rating is high so I won't have to worry about blowing any of the drivers.

Overall, this cab is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. I had waited patiently for about a month before the cab got shipped to my local dealer (Readcustom.com), but when I picked it up I was happy as a clam! Twelve inch speakers are the happy medium, seriously. They have everything! This cab is just... awesome. I can't say enough. Go out, find one, try it, buy it. I am not regretting buying this one at all. I probably would have paid more for it, too, had I known how great it was. Oh well, great deal for me! BUY ONE!
