I'm not gonna give it a 10 because of the lack of a tweeter. I don't miss it that much but it would make this cab even better if it had one.

Sound Quality : 9
I must say that this is tha deal of my bass-playing career. I wanted an 810 and I called Aguilar, they told me that the had just discontinued them whole S-series. Luckily I found the MF clearance and got this one for so cheap. I must say that it is NOT a cheaper/budget cabinet. it is a very well made and extremely good sounding cab with a different vibe.

I used to own a GS410 and still have 2 GS112s, so I know how they compare. The GS410 was very aggressive and a little clearer but it was a tad mid-scooped as most people notice. I loved the cab but sold it to get an 810. I've used this S810 in about 5 rehearsahls and 1 live show until now with my DB750 and also a Hartke 3500. It's very punchy and warm. The notes come very relaxed but with authority. It's not as agressive and clear as the GS series but every note is very articulate and present. I give it a 9 because of the lack of a tweeter/horn. The cab provides nice highs that are very pleseant and not brittle; but some people would like the option of having a tweeter. This would rise costs, so I understand that this cab in particular doesn't need it that much. The cab is more mid-oriented like they advertise and is perfect for the pop rock music I play.

With the DB750 it sounds very tubey and creamy, has balls to spare and handles everything I throw at it. I miss the tweeter a little bit with the 750 and not with the Hartke. The 3500 is way brighter but the cab still keeps its' warm attitude. I'd love to get another one for the same price again and own a killer rig, but maybe I'm just dreaming; then again maybe not.

Reliability : 9
Very well made. It's made with MDF and feels very sturdy. I'm having a custom ATA case made but only because I'll be traveling and have roadies.
The wheels and handles are very confortable and the cab is very very easy to move, even with one hand.

Customer Support : 10
Aguilar has the BEST customer service around. There are too many companies that never answer your emails and Aguilar is NOT one of them They are very helpful and answer your emails in a timely manner. This is one of the reasons I decided to use Aguilar products exclusively. Having great products is nice, but have the attitude to back them up with great customer service is what makes a company stand out.

Overall Rating : 10
Even if I paid the normal $1000 price range this cabinet is a very good one. It's not a budget cab and doesn't have cheaper design or parts. It's an Aguilar cab with a different voice than their GS series. I've used Ampeg SVT810s a lot and this cab is way clearer and has the attitude to compete with the "industry standard".

I feel I got a great cabinet for an unbelievable price. Try one before they run out. I really want another one jajajajja. Well, you know how us bassists are.

The tweeterless design gives up a little crispness but the very strong and defined mids and gut punching lows make up for it.

Reliability : No Opinion
It's an Aggie! I'm not worried. However, I can't assign a rating since I just got it.

Love this cab. Love the price! The 810 with a big tube amp is THE bass set up. I drive my fridge with an Ampeg SVT.
