I think its a 1966, i found it at an old nightclub downtown Nassau Bahamas, it came with some other gear that they did not want. I play guitar so I was not too impressed.
This amp has 2 channels. Channel 1 has 2 inputs, bass and guitar . cahnnel 2 has 1 input-instrument. both channels have bass and treble and thats it. Its supposed to be about 50 watts but who knows the tubes are 2x7027A power tubes, 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier, 2 6sL7 pre tubes and 1x7199 driver. none of which i have ever heard of.lots of power.

Sound Quality : 10
O.K. here is where it gets weird. I do not play bass. I play guitar, mostly blues and lots of originals. I plugged a bass in and played and instantly discovered that the old 18" speaker was blown, no surprise. i then plugged it into an old sonic 2x12 closed back cab with 2 celestion green backs just to check it out. I plugged my 72 strat into the instrument input, put the volume just over 5. Heaven, big fat thick tone.I love it. Its quiet, SUPER responsive and perfect for blues. I dont miss the mid E Q the treble seems to deel with it, I love it, its the only amp I use now.WHAT A FIND!!!

Reliability : 6
so far so good, its going strong and i have located a replacemnt set of tubes from Fliptops.com

Ampeg was helpful. Of course they dont really carry parts for such an old beast but they turned me on to a few people that are happy to help

Overall Rating : 10
Ive been playing for about 12 years. My other amp are
VOX AC30tb reissue
Mesa Boogie S O B
Pignose v40g all modded with better tubes and alnico speakers.Jensen and celestion. I play a 72 strat original and a telecaster thinline 90s with Kinman pickups, both sound awesome. Also a Gibson J160e acoustic sound briliant. I love it.If it went missing I would find it.

P S for the bass players, I am still gonna find a nice 18" speaker for it as I am sure it must be a wonderful bass amp also but good 18" speakers are not so common.
