This is an Ampeg BXT-210M. This 210 cab is shaped to stand upright or lean back like a monitor. Pretty cool idea. It has 2 10's. One 10" speaker has a coaxial tweeter in the center, there is a control on the side to control the level of the tweeter. There are also 2 1/4" and 2 Speak-on connectors. The cab is rated at 400W RMS/800 Peak. 4ohms Impedance. It weights about 60lbs
My main complaint is that they only have a handle on one side making it difficult to carry. I generally just pick it up like a box and don't use the handle

I use this cab with my ampeg SVT-IIIpro. I got this cab since I could not move the ampeg SVT-410HLF cabinet out of my bassment without assistance. I needed a quick get up and go cab to go with my head, that I could move myself. This cab fit the bill. <p>
The low end compared to my 410 cab is not there. The 410 cab sounds bigger fuller, more massive as expected. I have to re EQ a bit to get the low en out of the 210, but it is there. The 410 clearly sounds better but this 210 does the job.
I liked the BXT-210M being 4 ohms, cause that gives me the max power out of my head. However if you want to run 2 cabs you either have to run your head at 2 ohms which is not recommended or run them in Series for an impedance of 8ohms. Therefore I don't plan on using the 210 and 410 cabs together, it will be either or.

Overall this cab is a great idea, but overpriced. I strongly considered getting an Ampeg B115 combo amp for those pickup jams and small gigs which would have been cheaper than this cab. My ampeg SVT-410HLF was only $50 than I could find this cab for. Luckily I found the BXT-210M used.
Your soundman will love this cab, very nice if you have a good PA with some SUBs doing the work and are just using the cab as a monitor. I don't think I would be happy with just this cab, but for what I need it for it works great.

Extra strong construction. Very heavy, for a 210.
It sounds better on its' side.
I didn't like this one at first.
It needed same fiddling with my svtpro4 and then it blossomed, beautifully.
My 74 P, fretless and Dingwall Afterburner 5 require vastly differnt settings, but the sound put forth is monumental and very clear. It really needs lots of watts to open it up, and might be too bright, as it was for me.
I give a seven because the handles and jacks are all wrong placement and this thing is a pain in the shoulder, neck and ass to carry...

Brilliant, bordering on bittle. Tons of belly shake. Spectacularly full tone at high volume.
For an old schooler, it took some tweaking to make it fit my style. But it fills any room with great presence and clarity.
I don't dare hook up my svt610 during the same session. Too great a divergence of sound experience.
The articulation has caused me to raise awareness of how many notes I played, (too many), and and how to wonderfully pick out the right ones to keep everybody happy. I really felt the responsibility of the Bassist and this has improved my playing.
Bandmates request this one a lot...Jazz and rock/blues
I want another one to go with the svt4pro.

After 12+ years of playing, and over twenty cabs and combos, this unit makes me feel like there's nowhere else to go or look for gear.
That this is the sound I wanted - the sound that was just on the next newgear purchase.
Now about my playing skills, practice and taste.
Not great value, but, WTF? This is why we play bass. Nay?
For a great bowell movement, use one of these daily.
