I mainly use this cab at small venues where volume isn't paramount. It sounds very smooth and even but it will distort if you push it. I intially bought this cab thinking it could handle some of my louder band gigs but I quickly realized that I need the PB-212H for that. I use this mostly for classic soft rock and blues. It does the job!

I've never had a problem with either of my Portabass cabs. This little cab is built like a tank and is a pleasure to carry around.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the entire Portabass line. I love Ampeg and I love lightweight bass amps. These are perfect for me and I wouldn't hesitate to replace any part of my Portabass arsenal. They are a bit pricey but I think they're worth it.
