Just a 410 cab with horn. There are no speakon jacks on the back, so it must be fairly old. Only a 3 way switch for the horn.

Sound Quality : 8
Even before I bought this I knew it was going to be an add on to my rig,
This isn"t really a stand alone cab.{unless your playing at a resturaunt} I have used it at small pubs, but if you have a loud drummer
I'd add at least another 15 inch cab. This aint no eden cab,but I found that for the cheap price, it made the punchy mids to low mids come alive.

Reliability : 10
As for reliability..
Its an Ampeg. enough said.

I've used Ampeg products all my life and the only thing that ever went wrong was worn out tubes.

Overall Rating : 7
I've been playing bass for the last 15 years.
If this cab got lost or stolen I wouldn't worry too much.
But I do love the nice tone it adds to my overall sound.

I wouldn't recomend for loud/heavy rock. It lacks power.
I like the idea of a tweeter for a bass cabinet. It allows your more intricit parts to be heard instead of just hanging in the back, making the listener work to hear what you're doing.

Sound Quality : 6
I'm using a Peavy "Mark VI" head,(250 watt) and an Ibanez "Soundgear" bass.

I play mostly Heavy Rock/Metal.

It's been blessed with a good quality tone, but is curssed with very small balls.

Reliability : No Opinion
I only owned it for a week before trading it for a BSE-410HLF. I shelled out an extra $50 for the BSE-410HLF. (the smartest $50 I ever shelled out)

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 6
Again:it produces a good quality sound, but sadly lacks power, which merrits a low overall rating from me.

I would strongly recomend a BSE-410HLF over this one. It retains the quality sound of the SVT-410HE, but blows its doors off in power.

4x10 with horn, 200 WATTS
It?s a speakers cabinet, the only noticeable feature is the variable tweeter level control.
Bought this cabinet as an extension to my Trace Elliot rig (AH 250 GP12SMX and 1048h).

Sound Quality : 7
This cabinet has a very good sound, but with just 200 WATTS it lacks the power needed where you have to push hard. I used it alone very few times, I prefer the more powerful Trace 1048h as a stand alone cabinet.

Reliability : 10
Bought used in 1995, it has been with me and the Trace rig for a lot of gigs and it?s still there.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with them

Overall Rating : 7
I don?t recommend this cabinet to everyone, because of the little power handled.
If you need a powerful modern 4x10 and can?t live without Ampeg, go for the 410 HLF.
If you don?t need a wall of power, or if you?ve seen one second hand at a low price, and you want to add 4 10 speakers to your rig you should consider to make it yours.
A suggestion: try this or any other cabinet with the head supposed to drive it, and go straight to the right with the output volume knob, almost every cabinet sounds fine at low level.

I bought A brand new one a month ago..then returned it to buy a used one(to save some cash) so i'm guessing its about 2 yrs old (from looks). Its just a 4 10 cab with horn..simple enough could use a port but other than that only the amp could make it sound better. Also the review above this said its only 200watts RMS....its really 400watts RMS(800pk). It also has a Dial on the back that slightly will change the tone.

Sound Quality : 9
It sounds great, especially when givin the right amount of power its incredible. The only thing that would make it sound better is a port, like i said above. It never made noise at all..but i just got a seymourduncan quaterpouder in my bass and it makes staticy noise if your not touching a metal part of the guitar, But i think i just did a crappy job of installing the pickup and thats what causes it

Reliability : 10
Great...I had the brand new one...but i returned it and got a used one for half the price and it was just as good as the new one

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with em..but its ampeg...i doubt you would ever need to there products are rock solid

Overall Rating : 9
This is a great cab 550$ new...if your just getting your first stack this is the one to go for unless you've got some money in which you should go for the SVT-410HLF, or the SVT-610HLF. DO NOT GET THE SVT-810...The SVT610 kills it in tone and sound and everything...And its like 100 bucks less.

410 + horn. No port, shallow depth. Dial attenuator. A basic 410. 200 watts RMS, for a full range cabinet?!?! I bought this cab beacuse it was the match for the SVT-350H. The Head was undepowered to compensate for lack of power handling capacity. The handles are the spring loaded kind- they are ok, but could use better placement. It weighs a lot!

Sound Quality : 7
If you want the "Ampeg" tone, Here it is! But, that's it. This cabinet does not forgive when driven to the limit. It's horn is OK. Bottomy and bold, but only when fed the right amount of power.

Reliability : 10
For 3 years, it was a rock. Toss it out the tailgate at 40, hit it with a 72 Caprice, dust it off and jam.

Ive been playing for more than 16 years. I pushed this thing with a MEsa Boogie m-2000 head, it was OK. If you are considering this cab purely for its tone, skip it, get the 810 or the 410HLF. The headroom alone is worth it. If you want a 410 that can handle many styles and tonalities, go with an Eden, SWR, or Aguilar.
