Standard features.

4x 10" speakers, Horn switchable (Off, Low, High), Speakon and 1/4" Connector. Horn with a volume knop instead of a switch would even have been better, as well as 2x speakon connectors, to make it easier to chain more cabs to this cab.

I do love the sound of this box. Have been using it for almost a year now, get lots of comments on how good my sound is.
I'm using it with a G&L L2500 Tribute into a preamp (TL Fat Funker or Art Pro Channel) into a poweramp (Tapco Juice 800), with which i'm able to send 550 Watts into the cabinet. Not that i ever need that much of power, but still, it can handle it :)
I play mostly pop/rock, sometimes i step into funk or soul. Best set i have played over in my ears is an Aguilar set (AG500 - DB210 - DB410), but this comes really close soundwise, for the price it's really the best sound i could hope for.

Bought it used, hasn't failed me yet, only thing is the tolex? is showing signs of use, but i'm looking for a cover to prevent this in the future.

Didn't need them

I've been playing for about 6-7 years now. Playing G&L L2500 Tribute, HK Fretless into Art Pro Channel -> Poweramp.
Have played through Eden, Ampeg, Aguiler, SWR, Hartke amps, this is a setup i really like.

4x10 cab with horn 650 watts into 4 ohms. 2 x 1/4 jacks for the input/outut. Horn has switch for Hi-Off-Low settings. Not sure if a pot would have been better? Cab is VERY heavy. I've added wheels to make it moveable. One complaint - no cover as standard. You have to buy it as extra!

Sound Quality : 10
I really love the bass response from this cab. Its so smooth and rich its just sounds so good. It sounds warm and expensive (which it is!) I use a Warwick ProIV amp with Wal and Yamaha basses. My sound has improved 100% since getting this cab, so it has to be 10/10 for sound.

Reliability : No Opinion
Had it a few months and no problems so far. looks well built and feels solid enough. 4 x 10inch speaker with 650 watts is more than enough head room for me so I don't see any problems.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No contact needed with Ashdown so can't give an opinon.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing about 20 years and its the best cab I've heard. Its expensive but it does deliver with a great sound. Is its better than say an Eden or Ampeg or Hartke? I think is down to personnal feel. If your in the market for a pro 4x10 cab, give this a try next to the other top cabs and I think you'll be impressed.

It's a 410 cab. It has a horn hi/lo/off switch. Speakon and 1/4" in the back. Heavy as anything you've ever lifted. somewhere in the range of 85-95 lbs.600watts rms 8ohms. I play gospel music, which is a combo of funk, hiphop, jazz, rnb, progressive fusion etc a little bit of everything. I wish that the horn switch was analog, but the cab sounds great. I use the amp everywhere. I use a luggage carrier to get around with it. This amp has all the power that i'll ever need, it makes me quite versatile, i can fill the largest room with ease. Nice colors, (black, blue)

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using an ibanez soundgear with dx5 pickups. I use a gk 1001rb head. Combined everything sounds great, but this cab plays a huge role in that. The sound is so clean, so perfect, so loud and clear when i want it.

Reliability : 10
Very reliable. Never broken down. Never had a problem. I've been gigging and practicing with it for about 2 months now. It doesn't have that REALLY rugged look to it(swr, gk), it looks like a cab for a prettyboy bassist(what i am), but reliable and durable nonetheless.

Customer Support : 8
Never had to use, but i spoke with a few ashdown engineers about the makeup of their amps and their cabs, they were very helpful. This was all via email tho, i'm not calling england.

I've been playing bass since superbowl sunday 2003. My first amp was a fender bassman 100, i donated that to a church back home, it was good, but as my ear and my tastes developed, i realized that this was exactly what i wanted after trying out several different cabs. If it were stolen i'd be quite mad, b/c this was a very well informed purchase, there is nothing else that i'd want...except maybe an 810 or a 15" extension cab. I love the sound of this cab, i love how strong and clear it is at loud volumes. I compared it to eden, gallien krueger, ampeg, fender 410 and this was the only one that i wanted. It was only a little bit better than the bergantino but it was much cheaper than the 322 or 310.

Standard sized 4x10 + horn ported bass cab, rated 650 Watts RMS @ 4 ohms.
2 x input/output jack sockets, horn has Hi/Lo/Off attenuation switch.
Very solid (and heavy) plywood construction, metal speaker grill, recessed carry handles.

Sound Quality : 10
Oh yes...this thing sounds the business! Full, rich, resonant, warm, bright, defined, tight. You name it, it sounds it!

It delivers top quality bass sound for any type of music. It'll clearly reproduce the sound your amp puts out, coping with extreme EQ settings with no problem. Add on loads of bass frequency and still get a tight defined sound. Add loads of treble and get a nice sharp response, no breakup.

Overall this cab just sound class. It sounds like the expensive cab it is. It's got that extra something that makes it worth the price tag.

Reliability : No Opinion
Only had for a few months so we'll have to see. Looks rugged enough.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not yet had need to try support.

Overall Rating : 10
Its a top notch 4x10 cab that will suit any style of music.
In my opinion, its definition and quality of sound is superior to competitors like Eden, Ampeg and Trace Elliot.
