It's good ! 1/4 inch jack and speakon conectors....

Sound Quality : 6
It's a cheap 15inch cab ..... I play groove / rnb / gospel and it's not a bad low end sound ..... but the speaker is quite slow response (I like the mark bass traveler 151 myself but who has the money for that !) It doesn't move a lot of air quickly ! and you can feel yourself playing differently because of that.

Reliability : 10
gigged it a bit and it's a ok

Customer Support : 10
I did have a problem with something else and they were amazing !!!

I've been rediscovering bass for about four years ... I own a markbass lm2 head which I use for guitar, acoustic guitar and bass ... awesome! ..mag115 ....nothing out there better for the money (picked my one up second hand for ??50) ...but I would try and upgrade .... I'd try hartke but markbass is the best .... easy

It's a cab - 250 watts w. a 1/4 input and speaker in. I bought this as a last-minute replacement from someone who shares our practice space. The front grill is flimsy, but the side handles are nice.

Sound Quality : 3
I play through a carvin head which I realize is way more then this thing should handle - so I keep it quiet. When teamed up w. my mxr m80 pedal and a cheap epiphone, this cab actually had some decent punchy tone. Played w. my Ibanez soundgear, it was muddy, quiet, and you couldn't hear anything on my D or G string. Tone by itself was generally pretty awful, although when I played with a full band it wasn't so awful. Especially obnoxious is that when I tried playing "softly" I always got an initial "thump" just by touching the strings.

Reliability : 2
This thing didn't last 5 months and died unspectacularly. I was playing with it at practice and suddenly it just stopped. After some troubleshooting, I was able to get a pathetic whimpering out of the cab. Glad it didn't break down at a gig - then again, I only used it for one show b/c I would always borrow someone elses cab if I could because I hated how it sounded.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Bought it used, would never call them except to let them know this cab is awful.

Overall Rating : 2
I will not replace this with anything similar, or any other ashdown products. From the get go, the sound was sloppy and it was hard to control. I feel comfortable saying that 95% of the cabinets out there are better then this one.

1x15 with an input for a 1/4 inch and a speakon connector. I don't mean to bash anybody else's review...but WHAT ELSE DID YOU EXPECT! The only thing that I could think of was an output to connect it to another cab.

Sound Quality : 8
Sounds great to me. It probably helps that I dont play on a berhinger anything though. I use it with a Mesa Walkabout and a mesa 2x10. It gives me all the low end I need.

Reliability : No Opinion
It seems sturdy and I have played quite few gigs with it. No problems

Customer Support : No Opinion
Havent had to call them

Overall Rating : 8
If it were stolen I would probably get another one. Great cabinet especially for the price. I love the blue speaker....seems small to some, but I think it is cool.

We're talking here about an Ashdown MAG 115 deep bass cab, #160'ish.
It's a speaker, just a speaker, rated at 250W. Presumably RMS.
DO NOT BUY IT.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
The sound is fine at 10% of its rated power although it seems to have many peaks and troughs throughout the frequency range.

Reliability : No Opinion
If this thing packs up tomorrow I'll be fairly pleased.
It would save me lugging it around, I don't need a coffee table.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No idea, I would dump it first.

Overall Rating : 1
I started playing bass in 1964 using 8 x 12"s and 100W, hopeless sound.
Then a 33 year gap until now. Got 2 Yamaha BBT210S's which are quite ok but poorish on bottom E. Using a Behringer ax4500 (ok ok). Through Ashdown ABM410 and ABM115 the Behringer is terrific, love it.
The MAG115 adds virtually nothing to the BBT210S's, not worth the cartage.

This ported cabinet houses 1 x 15 driver and is rated at 250W RMS.

The front port consists of a long slot all along the bottom section of the cabinet.

Connections are to the rear on a panel. Carring handles to each side.

The cabinet is about 24" wide, 18" high and 16" deep so is easily managable by the average person. Weight is not too bad either.

Well covered by thick 'carpet' type material. Grille is a steele mesh and possibly easily dented.

Sound Quality : 8
Initially I though there were some 'boxy' resonances within this cabinet so I added a little acoustic wadding inside. Easily fitted by removing on of the side handles. This addition appears to have removed most of these unwanted resonances and flattened the frequency response off a little. Used along with my MAG C115-300 combo it defiantely is quite a potent combination. I stand the combo on top of the cab and it all looks quite impressive. No worries here.

Reliability : 10
Not much to go wrong with a box and speaker?

I has proved to be reliable mechanically and electrically so far. No complaints in that department.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No needed any support but I believe Ashdown support is very good.

Overall Rating : 10
Good value, not too big, not too heavy and takes a good kicking. Might be worth considering a little acoustic wadding to dampen the cab?
