2 pc 10 inch blue line speakers + tweeter (not possible to switch off), about 250 watts, jack cable input (no speakon). All basic features are there. Enough power on board.

I use this as an extensioncab for a MAG300-C115 combo and it matches well with it. Does not sound good though when using a bass overdrive effect. It gives the punch and pressure like it should do. My sound is more dynamic now on stage (main purpose for my usage)

I use ashdown for 2 years now. My combo always worked fine, I expect same for this cab.

It's a great cab for the price I paid. As an extensioncab for live it's excellent and provides me with a rich an complete sound.
I'm very happy with it.

I brought my Ashdown MAG-210T cab in 2008 to link up with a rather low and muddy Peavey Combo that I had brought a year earlier. I was looking for some high and mid to compliment the lower sounds the Peavey produced. This cab delivers well on this, though as you would expect options outisde of the basic set-up (2 X 10" and a tweeter") are none existant.

The sound quality is superb. Though if I had brought this as a stand alone, I would be expectiong a great deal freom an intersting contour from the stand alone head to provide those necessary low end tones we all expect from a bass amp.
Let's face it, we play bass because we like the rythm of a lwo E string.
That being said, for me, it fills a sound gap.

I was originally looking at a simialr Warwick and Gallien Kruger, initially based on price. Though these both lacked the range I was looking for.
I chose the Ashdown for three reasons.
1 - Price
2 - Sound Range and
3 - JJ Burnel uses Ashdown (my hero).
I have not been disappointed as it neatly fills a gap in my bass sound output.

Has no special features. Is basically an empty / reflex vented box
with 2 10" speakers and a tweeter / horn. The tweeter / horn is not switchable although I expect it would remain switched on all the time anyway. Speakon and 1/4" jack connections to rear. Construction seems fine and well covered. Rated at 200W although it says 250W on the rear. Comes without feet.

The tweeter / horn integrates well with the 10" drivers giving a pretty smooth response. Is capable of giving some nice crisp sounds. No good for deep bass though and is perhaps better used as part of a system rather than stand alone? Depends on your preference I suppose. Some boom and boxiness is evident but a little acoustic wadding has reduced that considerably in my case. Careful use of EQ and positioning for optimum perfomance will help.

Havn't blown it up yet although I have had loudspeakers fail in the past after long continous use, particularly Ashdown. I'm sure it will be fine.

It does the job, sounds and looks OK, the finish is good too. I use this along with a MAG C115 cab and it integrates pretty well adding more midrange punch, clarity and brighness to the sound. I'm unsure if the cabinet has been *designed* or is just a best guess (as most are) scenario.

This cab was probably made in 2003.
I have bought it in March 2004 and been using it daily since then.
It is a very simple cab : 2 10" blue line speakers, 1 tweeter (non-adjustable). No speakon connectors.
It is rated at 200 W RMS (300 W program) ar 8 ohms.
I use it with an Ashdown MAG-300R head, and it is my only cab. I play through it at each rehearsal as well as at each gig.
Well, since there is no reason IMHO to load a cab with bells and whistles, and thinking that "less is more", I give it a 9.
Would get 10 with adjustable tweeter and Speakon connectors.
One more excellent "feature" is the light weight : only 42 lbs (19 kg) though speakers are not NEOs.

As stated before, I use it with an Ashdown MAG-300R. This combination is awesome, and yes it is amazingly loud for this power range.
I play many kinds of music since I am the bass player of a professional cover band, and it suits all these styles with authority.
My main bass is currently a Music Man SUB 5, but I could experience the rig with other basses such as Fender Jazz Bass Highway 1, Warwick Corvette 5 active, Rickenbacker 4003 and Fender Precision Bass MIJ 70 reissue.
All these basses have been shining through this cab, and though its frequency response is stated at 60Hz - 20kHz, the low B of any 5er I played through it was very tight.
This cab seems to have a natural bend for low-mids, but believe me, even the crispiest highs shine through it.
I am after more power now (going to switch to a MAG-410T cab), but I would be dishonest giving anything else than a 10.

Everytime I went it touch with Ashdown, they replied accurately in minutes. I can hardly imagine a better customer support. Too bad, I can't give a 20 out of 10 ;)

If you like real bass tones (which means much more than only crispy slapping tone) and if you are on a budget, I believe this cab is probably one of the best buys on the market.
There is nothing I hate about this cab, and if it were stolen or lost I'd probably get another MAG series cab.
Now life is what it is, and I am after more power so I'm switching to a MAG-410T cab (currently on order) which will then be connected to a MAG-600R head. That is the ONLY reason why I switch to something else. Butb the MAG-300R + 210T rig will stay here. No sale. Just going to be a backup.
I recently tried to switch to Hartke (and still keep on wondering why) and was really disappointed. The Hartke 5500 + 410XL hardly sounded louder than the MAG-300R + MAG-210T rig ! And way too crisp for me.
I have been playing for 29 years now. I am a professional player and went thru tons of gear thru the years.
