4x10 box with tweeter. Fixed tweeter level, no on/off option either.

Sound Quality : 9
Great sounding cab, especially when you consider the price tag. Some upper mids honk though, otherwise great. No unpleasant highs or too muddy lows. Mine is powered by an Eden WT-600, paired with an Eden D118XL.

Reliability : 10
No issues after two years of use.

Never had to deal with Ashdown.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing bass since 1983. Back then you couldn't get any cheap AND good stuff, this cab is both cheap and excellent.

I really like this cab. Lightweight. Good looking. The handles tend to be a bit uncomfortable.

Sound Quality : 10
I use mid-80s Rickenbacker 4003 basses with a SanSamp RBI, DBX 160a compressor and QSC 850w poweramp. Coupling this with the 2x10 MAG and my rig is wonderful. I've sold off my SWR Goliath III and Son of Goliath. These cabs can certainly handle the mids I love to push.

Highly recommended. One of the best low-dough cabs on the market.

Most recent model, paired with the mag-300 head.
Pretty solid built, not too heavy which i was relived to find after a year of lugging around a dirty great big combo. Yuck
Blue speakers look mad.
loud enough for medium sized gigs, might consider adding on an Mag 210 cab eventually, probably wouldn't need much bigger than that, wouldn't add a 150 or another 410, because you really don't need it.

Sound Quality : 8
Nice and clear, can get a bit crunchy if you're playing with my settings with the hardcore treble old school bass sound, but other than that it's very clear, and would suit a range of genres

Reliability : 7
Like i said before, this amp is pretty solid, i chucked wheels on it, but cheaped out on them, and they've started to suck, so i'f you're going to put wheels on it, get decent ones.
Haven't had any trouble playing it though, sets up easily, plays well, handles bumpy rides in a trailer.

Customer Support : 6
1 Year Warranty, would have prefered more.

Overall Rating : 8
Like i said in my review for the mag 300 head, together these things sound great, on my last tour, everyone was using my cab, they all loved it, there was a gailen head, a hartke head, and a big rig all going through it, and they all sounded great, and it's handled all these different heads going through it, and being lugged around it still works a charm. I don't wish it had the extra cab, but when i have a spare 400 bucks i'll add one on.
Good cab, cool speakers. If it was lost or stolen, i would replace it, because i'd probably only be able to afford this one, if i could afford more, i'd get the abm cabs.
but for my price range, I strongly reccommend it.

410s and a tweeter. Carpet covering. The grill is just right. Love the blue speakers.

Sound Quality : 9
Sounds really good. I sold my Eden rig because this stuff sounded so good. This cabinet has a great midrange that alot of other modern cabs have lost. I use a mag head with two of these and just love the sound.

Reliability : No Opinion
I've only had these for a few months but have beat them pretty hard and they seem to take it without complaint.

Emailed them and got a responce the next day.

I have owned all of the major brands and alot of custom systems. This stuff really is decent. My only complaint is that these have an odd smell that won't go away. I store these cabs in my SUV and it makes my truck smell funny. For the price I plan on buying a few more for differant practice spaces.

This latest cab from Ashdown is the 'deep' version which brings the MAG range in to line size-wise with the ABM range. Four blue line 10" speakers plus tweeter to finish off. 1/4" input socket and speakon socket too. Rated at 450w according to the rear panel.

Build quality is not on a par with the ABM range, but then again it is half the price. These are assembled in China and whilst the parts are fine, you can tell. The corners are rubber, the covering is carpet and the steel grill is a bit flimsy.

It does what is says on the tin.

Sound Quality : 8
I play a couple of Fenders and a Stingray through this, together with an ABM 15" cab and 500w head. The sound quality is very good given the price, but does lack a slight lack of top end clarity. I would probably not play with this on it's own but coupled with a good quality 15" cab then it is actually pretty decent.

Reliability : 8
Well, it's reasonably new so I'm not sure. It looks ok, hasn't broken down yet and seems sturdy enough, so points there.

Customer Support : 10
Have had occasion to speak to Ashdown a couple of times and they couldn't have been more helpful. Good customer service goes a long way to building and then preserving a companys reputation.

Overall Rating : 8
A very good cabinet for the money. I guess you could uprate the external looks reasonably cheaply to make it look like an ABM. If it were stolen, I would probably look for a second hand ABM 4x10, but saying that, this really is good value for money. You may wish to consider a Hartke 4x10 cab as an alternative.

4x10 cabinet, 1 Horn, 1/4" and Speakon connectors. MDF construction (I'll get to that later). Simple enough. I wish there was an attenuator for the horn. 350w Handling.

Sound Quality : 8
I'm using an Ibanez SR305 into a SWR 4004 bass head. Mostly Jazz/Rock sounds, and the sound was fine. A little on the muddy side, but not enough to irritate me.

Reliability : 3
Okay here's where I develop a problem. I've had the thing for a week, and turn it over to put caster on it for an up-coming gig. There's a split in the MDF from front to back on the right side, right through where you'd mount casters. I manage to get them on in a solid part of the cabinet (so I thought), make it through a gig, and as I'm loading in at home, the casters come completely off. Out of nowhere, they've worked themselves loose.

Given that I sold this cab off last night, I figure it's a safe bet that I won't be getting another one.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I didn't bother them since I was pretty sure I'd be unloading the cab anyway...I just didn't plan on doing it this soon.

Overall Rating : 5
I'm sure that if I hadn't had my little caster issue, I'd still have the cab in question. As it is, I'd be a little on the worried side every time I used another one, and that's no way to gig.
