Ashdown MAG-C210T-300 210 Combo

2005 brand new MAG C210T-300. 2x10", 300W RMS, 5 band EQ.
Goes from crisp and punchy to very deep.

This amp has plenty of power. I just use it for practicing and jamming in a smaller space with friends. It works great, has plenty of power.

I haven't had a situation where i've wanted to use the DEEP or BRIGHT EQ presets. I tried them out and they don't fit with the sound i want out of my bass.

I play rock music mostly, some funk. Works well in both situations. Took me a while to set the EQ just right, but there's plenty of different sounds you can squeeze out of this amp.

I've only used this amp with passive pickups through a Fender J-Bass but it has separate inputs for active and passive electroncs.

The only thing to look out for is the input level. If that's set too high then striking the strings too hard will result in some distortion even at low volume. But easily corrected.

I haven't had it too long but the enclosure is solidly built. I can see the plastic corner protectors getting broken or cracked. The speaker grille isn't particularly strong compared to other amps.

I'm rating it at 9 because
a) i haven't had the amp that long
b) i can see the corners and grille taking some damage

My only dealing with the company was an email to ask who i could get in touch with in Canada to purchase this amp.

I'm leaving the rating blank since any company will do anything to sell you a product. It's the repairs etc where they give you headaches.

For my purposes, this amp is perfect. If you want a cheap, high powered combo for jamming/practice this one is excellent. If this amp was lost (how could it get lost? it's huge)/stolen i'd be pissed off, then i'd replace it, then i'd hunt down whoever stole it.

The tone and power are great, so's the price. Has all the features that i want. Maybe some castors since rolling is nicer than carrying.
