Usable line out, 7 band eq- simple but effective compressor, sound shaping which you can use to compensate for 'softness' from the compressed sound, volume and gain. Has a big transformer - bodes well for a long life. Not sure what else you need - not a modelling amp

Sound Quality : 7
Good with my passive bass, plenty of volume, a bit boomy with a 15" cab, punchy with a 4x10. Very usable for pub or bar gigs or band practice. Sound quality doesn't drop out as volume increases. fan is a bit noisy, but only audible when not playing.
I would have given this a higher rating but I played an Eden 2 weeks ago which nearly crushed my sternum with sound pressure and crunch - still you get what you pay for.

Reliability : No Opinion
good so far -have had one year- Eq sliders have flimsy knobs, they'll probably get knocked off in transit sometime. Big transformer, solidly built, connections seem good quality. knobs turn smoothly.

Incredible value for money. A reliable band ready amp for $A600. A solid unexciting performer. Also is a nice colour blue
Obviously not as good as a $3000 amp but what do you expect. Much better than the Behringer and other offerings in the same price range.

This amp was made by Ashton, an Australian Company and its rated at 400watts RMS.

This is quite a straight forward, sinple, meat and potatoes solid state head. Easy to use with only a few features.
-7 band Eq
-Compressor
-D.I.
-Gain,Master,Shape

Nothing fancy at all so only a modest rating.

Sound Quality : 7
I use an active bass so i just have the Eq on flat and use the bass pre-amp to dial in a sound, and i can get a good sound out of it. I play mostly rock and this amp suits my needs. Overall its quite a boomy amp with a decent amount of punch. Havent tried a passive bass on it though.

Reliability : No Opinion
Only had it for a few days and played one gig with it, so far so good. Can't really give a dencent rating yet, but it looks and feels like a solid, well made piece of equipment.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Havent had to deal with them

Overall Rating : 9
I like the fact that its such a good value amp. It no Dave Eden or Mesa but for $799 (RRP) you cant go wrong. Its a great head for someone whos running short on cash. It does have a good sound and will suit people who want a home rig or are sloggin the pub circuit. Its loud enough a fill a medium room and if your not a pretentcious label/brand conscious gear snob it should be fine. Cheers
