2X10 NEO bass cab weighing in at 44 lbs. Great lifting handles. 1/4 inch and speakon connections. Tweeter with adjustable control. Durable carpet and corners, nice looking grill and vent shelf.

Sound Quality : 10
I have used this cab alone exclusively for over 1 1/2 years with several different bass' and have always got a great mellow, deep sound out of this cab. I have had many compliments on my sound.
There are times as the night goes on that the stage volumne has a tendancy to get louder and louder. I have never had any problem keeping up with this cab and I am using this stand alone by itself.

Reliability : 8
Due to my own fault, I smoked the tweeter reostat. I normally have it set at 0900 o'clock but for some reason turned it down to zero between sets and as electrical physics go, if electrical current is not going to the tweeter it needs to go somewhere and it goes to the reostat and burns it up. Believe people when they say don't turn your tweeter all the way down. Get this. I called Dave so I could buy a new one and he sent me one for free. I have used this cabinet for quite some time loading it in and out weekly with the normal bangs, heat, cold etc and it has operated above my expectations. I will give it a 8 on this as I think there should be a way to design in some sort of fail safe system to prevent the reostat from burning up.

As I said earlier, Dave sent me a new reostat control panel after smokeing the reostat for free. WOW hows that for customer service. I have ordered several speakers from Avatar and sent many e-mails and have had nothing but a great experience. Service the old fashion way. They really care about their customers.

Been playing bass for 20 years. I currently play a Hofner Club through an Ampeg Porta 800 with the Avatar Neo 210. We are the house band and play weekly so this cab gets lots of use. Great quality, great sound, great price, great customer service and built like a tank. Not much else one can ask for.

4 ohm 2 x 10 in bass cab. Features are minimal you have three jacks paralled together and a tweeter volume control. I broke the conection between the two 1/4 in jacks so I can run one speaker at 8 ohms for quiet practice or series or paralell the two for different amp impedence. Great handles for transport and extremly Light!

I play rock and blues and this cabinet ROCKS! Great tone, loud, sounds as good as ANY 2 x 10 bottom. will emulate the sound of your bass and amp. can go from that thick deep vintage sound using my bassman 400 pro head to a very articulate and punchy sound with my Hartke 3500 head. No trouble blasting over any guitar player I have encountered if necessary.

felt peeling in one spot, it is in the same shape as I received it about a year or so ago. I am not rough on my equipment though and generally load and un load myself. I always bring a back up head and Never bring a back up cab. Extremely well made multi ply ply wood no pressboard. great handles. simple and strong. Aside from the

I have to give this an 8 only because I have not had any problems, so I don't know for shure how it would get handled. When you call you get the owner, Dave, who is very courteous and knowledgeable. Shipping is very prompt and reasonable. I have not hade a problem but I am confidant that he would stand behind it.
I believe the warranty is one year labor and 90 days parts. I also have a compact 15 bottom on loan to a friend. I never had any trouble with either cab.

I have been playing Bass for about 6 years , Guitar long than I?d like to admit and am kind of an equipment nut. I own three Basses that I built using Warmoth bodies and necks and an American P bass. I have had probably 10 different bass amp and speaker combinations and I have no reason to change This cab.

If it were stolen or lost I would be upset! I would definitely
replace it with the exact same unit!

I presently own three heads a Hartke 1400, awesome sound for small coffee shop type gigs, a Hartke 3500 ( a brute) an my latest, a Bassman 400 pro., a great match for this cab for now until I find that Tube head! I have listened to many high end 4 ohm 2 x 10 bottoms, you now the brands, and You can not beat this little cab for warm thick or punchy sound with plenty of volume if needed. Outdoor gigs can be a problem for Bass and this cabinet has been more than enough for my needs. The 8 ohm, compact 15 that I have out on loan to a friend sounds good but does not light it up like this baby does !
In my opinion, you can?t go wrong with this Bass cab!

This cabinet represents the addition of Eminence Delta Lite neodymium speakers to the Avatar line of speakers. The frequency response is increased and now runs from 55 hz up to 16k hz. The tweeter is totally controllabe with a control on the back of the cabinet. The total weight is 44 lbs. and it has to human-hand-friendly handles nicely mounted midway on either side of the cabinet. The steel grill is shock mounted to prevent any unwanted rattles or buzzes while playing. the cabinet is built of void-free plywood and is very solid and covered with first class black carpet. I use this cabinet for restaurants and small clubs. It is conservatively rated at 600 watts RMS and is very efficient.

Sound Quality : 10
This cabinet has a clear nataural uncolored voice. You can get plenty of high frequencies out of it by turning up the tweeter control in the back but it may be a little harsh if you have it up all the way. I use it dialed in at around 10 o'clock and it adds just the right amount of presence. I'm a finger style bassist and rarely use any pop/slap technique in my playing and this cabinet captures all the nuance of my touch on the strings. Also, in spite of its excellent power-handling capabilities, it is very efficient. I've used it with an Ampeg PB-250 and a Euphonic Audio iAmp 800 and the cabinet brings out all the best from both amps. I use a Pedulla Thunderbass 6 string and a Carvin LB-76 bass and the cabinet allows their unique voices to be reproduced perfectly.

Reliability : 10
Though I have only had the cabinet for about a month, it is extremely well built and I usually do bring it by itself on gigs without a backup speaker cabinet. Eminence speakers have an excellent reputation and the cabinet is built as well as any SWR or Eden cabinet, and costs much less and has a higher power rating to boot!

Customer Support : No Opinion
When you order any cabinet from Avatar, you speak to the man who owns the company and he is very knowledgable, friendly, and professional. His name is Dave and he can answer any question you might have regarding his products. Also, the shipping time he told me for the cabinet was exactly on target. It arrived in perfect condition (thanks to excellent packing) via Fed Ex and was ready to be used immediately.

Overall Rating : 10
By using custom designed Eminence Delta Lite speakers in his cabinets, Dave at Avatar now has a product that is extremely competitive with even such high end companies as Epifani and Aquilar. The cabinets are very well built and, more importantly, they sound great! The price simply cannot be beat! I liked the 2x10 cab so much I traded in both my Ampeg PB 210 and 212 cabinets and ordered an Avatar Neo 410 today! Avatar cabinets are now the only cabinets I'm using and regardless of the money, they are as good as anything out there on the market, regardless of brand. I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't be disappointed.
