I wish to thank the previous poster for these lines: They helped me choose this cabinet and explained why it was the best choice. They found the distributor for me, and even helped me w/ the wiring problem as mentioned above. "
At first I got no sound, then rewired (no soldering required) and there was the sound!

3 10s and 1 10 with coaxial tweeter. Very clean and accurate highs.
Neutriks and trs and banana plug inputs. Solid grill and nice deep red carpteing. A pretty small cab. Heavy, but easy to move since you can reach both handles quite easily. 8 ohm

I initially used my Trace Elliot V-type 220 watt tube head and was
very impressed. The tube gain creamed out nicely, with good clarity
and 'warmth'. But I the head simply could not keep up with the cab, so I hooked up my Avalon U5 d.i. into my QSC RMX2450. One channel at first, which runs up to 500 watts at 8 ohms. Very loud and clean. Using my Rane ME15B 2 channel 15 band Eq I, along with the U5 presets, I could get just about any sound needed with impressive results. However, the amp would clip a bit at really high volume. Clearly I needed more. So I bridged the amp to 1500 watts at 8ohm, and....
look out. Really. It's almost silly. However, being a watt ho, I'm loving it. My goal is to destroy any and all guitarists who come over to jam. I think this might do it. I should mention I also have a Bag End 1x18, but my room is too small to handle both at once. The phase cancellation makes it quieter, so for now the 4x10 is all I'm using, and I couldnt be happier. Very highest recommendations.

Overbuilt, in my opinion, which is the only way to go. It would
take a forklift and lots of beer to hurt this cab. And I've been running 1500 watts into it with regularity without a hitch, so I dont see anything failing anytime soon.

Never dealt with, so I'll leave blank.

Playing many years, tried other cabs. No, I havent owned every single good cab ever, and don't really care to. Lots of great gear around.
No need to, anyway. I'm a firm believer that a good player will sound good on any gear. The Bag Ends put out what you put in, only really stinking loud. I mean really. And stinking. Stinking as in really loud and good. You know. KaBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

2003, 800@8 ohms ,4x10 cabinet w/ 3 regular drivers and one AX-HI driver.
four rear ports, which move alot of air.
1 banana hookup, 2 speakons and 2 1/4 hookups.
*note, bag end sets up thier cabinets +/- 2 from the factory, which I personally dont get, easy fix though. unscrew the plate and simply reconnect the other side at +/- 1 and life will be great.
really nice rubber eqsue grips on the handles. they actually feel comfortable when you carry it. and you have to every where until your road case comes in because it has no casters. but that really dosent matter.

this cabinet is made for the studio 100%. it does not sound like a cabinet though, i can't stress how amazingly true this cab stays throughout the entire fretboard. the high driver is the most creative thing ive ever seen in speaker design. i run it w/ an Eden WT 800 and a Stingray 4, and it even smooths outs the stingray. its like someone mic'd my strings and im running w/out and amp. your attack, sustain, technique, everything comes out and disperses everywhere. that is where this cab really really REALLY makes its money. if you run it live the bottom is huge. not the hit, but the mass of the tone. it's everywhere. it swallows the stage. all of this out of a 4x10 box! there is no box sound either. its as loud across the stage as it is right in front. this cabinet is unreal. it has no equal.

this is where cinderella and her glass slipper meet. Bag End is the best company in the world in terms of customer support. You talk to the actual techs who design and build the stuff. They will stay on the phone w/ you for however long it takes. They helped me choose this cabinet and explained why it was the best choice. They found the distributor for me, and even helped me w/ the wiring problem as mentioned above. I never hesitate to call them w/ anything because I know they will fix it and treat me like a customer. On a personal note, thats what i want out of a company, full support. I will, from now on play bag ends till I die, not just becuase they are genious and made THE sound, but because i know 100 percent that the company is about being real and not a conglomerate. if they are ever bought out i will cry, and take back my promise.

i gave everything 10's because everything deserves 10's. With this cabinet i feel like im part of a club. Eveyone else just dosent get it. They will never get it until they join. Bag End is now what SWR was in the 80's and Eden was for a while. I also like the fact that they just make cabinets. they really really know what they are doing, and why they are doing it. just buy Bag End stuff and realize everything else is worthless.
