18.5 x 28.5 x 24.5, 70lbs. This is a deeper, wider version of Bag End's S15-D... it's front ported off to the side rather than in the back.

This is a fairly big 15" cab, although it's not as cumbersome and clumsy in size as most generic cabinets, which are just big all around. This is wide and deep, but only as tall as it needs to be (slightly over the speaker size.) It's kind of heavy, but not so much so that you'd need wheels. It would be kind of nice to have tilt-back style wheels (like on most 8x10 cabs) just to make it move easier, but that's just me being lazy.

This is a single driver cab, so no crossover. It might benefit from a horn or a mid-driver, but this cabinet probably works best as the low end in a bi-amped rig.

I run this cab with a GK800rb (300W) and it seems to do just fine with that. My cabinet is loaded with an EV speaker, but most are loaded with an Eminence 15.

This cabinet slays. It's beautiful. Solid, strong, full of depth, and able to project. It handles a low B string beautifully. It's frightening how much of a difference it makes in the sound of the amp... make no mistake, this cabinet is a beast and it WILL bring out the best (and perhaps worst) of your amp.

I play a lot of heavier music through this cab (emo-core, hard rock) and it pulls it off great. Honestly, I think it would work for pretty much anything you threw at it, but it may not be as practical for jazz or lighter sounds... not that it can't make it sound good, but simply because you don't need this much cabinet to make those sounds.

Other cabinets I tried out before deciding on this one were Eden, Ampeg, SWR, and EV... only the Eden came within any distance, but the Bag End easily won out. The only other cabs I'd consider now as competition would be Acme, Bergantino, and Genz-Benz.

To put things in perspective, I used this cab in a band with two bass players (I held down the lower end, the other played more melodic and higher stuff) and had no problems being heard. We also played tons of shows where the other bands bass players brought the trusty Ampeg SVT and 8x10 combination... I got lower and louder (and sounded better) than they did on most occasions.

That said, I recommend checking out a BBE Sonic Maximizer in your rig... it really does make a big difference in bringing out the low end. You don't notice it much... until it's not there. Then you want it back.

Reliability : 9
Dead reliable. I got inside the cabinet to check it out after buying it used and everything seemed solid. I had some slight problems with one of the parallel inputs, but some contact cleaner and it's perfect.

I've never really needed them, but their website is helpful and they reply to questions.

Really... do I need to gush much more? Ok. It's amazing. I still like this cabinet more than my Genz-Benz 4x10. It just has something about it. If you need a word: balls. This cabinet has them and more.

If you're shopping for a cabinet, it's worth driving out of your way to try these cabinets out. I drove 70 miles to check these cabinets out (on the way to a Martin factory tour, but...) with my full rig and bass. This is the ONLY way to test gear... bring everything you normally play apart from the item for which you're shopping.
