2006 BA-410....Got it for regional touring. Didn't want to worry about trashing expensive stuff, and was more than pleased with the quality and basic tone. The cabinet will take a lot of power and abuse. Could be a tad deeper, but still well voiced.

Sound Quality : 9
Good over all clarity. Sounds kinda like a Hartke 410 XL-4.5 hybrid. Suits the music I play.

Reliability : 10
Absolutely dependable after a year and a half on the road!!

Customer Support : 10
Behringer gives you a brand new cab if anything goes wrong on their end....YAY!

Overall Rating : 10
Dirt cheap and worth every penny

It's a 4 ohm 4x10 cab that can handle 600 watt. Exactly what I was looking for to my Ampeg SVT-2 pro which can't handle single 8 ohm cabs.
I use it in small practice room and it's size and weight made it easy to fit.

Sound Quality : 6
I use a P bass copy and AMPEG SVT-II pro . I havent got that much experience, but I felt it was a bit muddy. Maybe because it's not a closed cabinett and I play in a small room. I didn't feel it had that punch and air-moving even in a small room.
And if you crank it with a mere 300watt tube amp, it feels like its gonna brake down...

Reliability : 3
I've had the cab for 6 months and used it to practice with my band 2 times 2 hours a week when I saw that a chunk from the outer ring of the alumnium cone had fallen off. The bit had almost the shape of the letter "C". Took it back to the dealer that said he never seen anything like this before.

Customer Support : 4
The dealer said that broken Behringer stuff has to go through Germany, because they have everything centralized. So I waited as the dealer called the german service numbers. The first two of them led back to a Swedish guys cellphone that claimed he never heard the "word" Behringer before. The last number finally worked (6 month old phonelist) and he asked if they could send a new cone or fix it here in Sweden. No, they didn't have any aluminium cone in stock. They were on the way though...from China. So they told him that he has to ship with UPS to them on their terms ofcourse. Im waiting for my new cab right now, if the damage gets approved. I have 1 year warranty on it.

Overall Rating : 5
I've played for 3 years
I paid about 500$ or 400 EUR. Everything seems more expensive in Sweden... When I bought I just needed a cab as quickly I could, therefore I didn't have the time to compare to other products. It was also hard find new 4x10 cabs with 4 ohm under 500$. I would not buy this cab again, I would go for an ampeg 8x10(900 EUR) or some second hand. And I would try them before I buy them.

My BA410 was manufactured in March of 2004. I play mostly hard rock and jazz--quite the combination, eh? The amp does exactly what it needs to, which is be a loud amp. As far as features go... its got nothing really.

Its a box with speakers in it. It has a switchable tweeter on the back. I use this amp in the basement of my friends house. It has enough power down there. I also did use it to play at a venue of about 200 people. It was definately enough there.

Sound Quality : 8
I play an Epiphone Thunderbird Goth bass on this with the Behringer BXT3000 bass head. It sounds great to say the least! You can get a very thick and warm sound out of it, or, you can get that "clanky" or "metaly" sound like that of Tool or Korn. The aluminum cones sound great.

Reliability : 5
This amp wasn't too reliable at first. After about two months of playing on it, one of the cones broke. I took the cab to Russo's in Omaha, Nebraska. Behringer sent me a FREE speaker. They put it in, and it had a broken cone just like mine. So, the guy glued the cone back together and gave me the speaker they sent me. It sounds great now, but I think what broke it was the "ultrabass" feature on the BXT3000 head. It can play loud, but be careful with subharmonics. Also, the cones ARE aluminum, so therefore they aren't strong to begin with.

Customer Support : 5
Customer support honestly sucks for Behringer. I can't ever get ahold of them. It always has to be through a dealer of some sort. However, they did send Russo's the speaker in a timely manner. They just don't like to deal directly with their customers, it seems

Overall Rating : 7
Overall, this isn't a bad cabinent by any means. It is loud, but you need to be careful with subharmonics/octavers, as it can damage and ruin the aluminum cones in this thing. It does what I want it to.

If it were lost or stolen, I would probably buy something like an Ampeg. Mostly because I have gotten a lot better since I started. This probably would make a great rehersal/practice/backup cab. You can gig with it, but just be careful with loud volumes. It boasts 1000W handling, but take it with a grain of salt.

It's a 4x10 bass cabinet. it doesn't really need a crapload of features. but it does have a switchable horn, which I enjoy. you can turn it on and off from the back, or you can buy a footswitch to control it on stage.

Sound Quality : 9
this thing blew my Fender Bassman 115 out of the water. it has an incredibly thick, dynamic sound and I heard every note and chord come through with complete clarity. top notch. better than the Peavey 410 I played right next to it.

Reliability : 8
one word: Solid. the handles are incredibly well made, and the grill is reenforced in the middle as well as the edges. the corner pieces are made of plastic though, and I wish they were metal.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never had to deal with them, but the booklet was incredibly helpful. they pretty much tell you how the thing works in implicit detail.

Overall Rating : 9
I was incredibly impressed with this cabinet. not only is it much cheaper than the Peavey and Hartke 410s, but it sounds just as good. better than the Peavey in my opinion. it has a thick, dynamic sound that completely put my Fender Bassman 115 to shame. the only thing I disliked were the plastic edge protectors. I would have preferred metal. the handles are incredibly solid and well designed. overall, I would suggest this cabinet to anyone who wants a sturdy, great sounding rig, and can't afford an Ampeg (which is most people).

Behringer BA410, four 10" paper-cone speakers, one switchable horn, basscabinet, 2005.

features: thin looking carpet, jack and speakon plugs, the on/of switch for the horn, little wheels on one side (for home use only?)
You can lift it on you're own, but you'd rather not... Made some weels on a plank for it. I also made a sort of cover, from thick plastic (they use it to make fishponds, ?12) and Gaffa-tape, since it is still new...
nearly 70x70x40 cm, won't fit to easy through the backdoors of a car- then again , i wanted a bigger cabinet...
It looks good, and is made of MDF wich is non resonant and really strong (but heavy)
It claims to handle 1200 Watts.
I paid 310 euro's for it, never thougt i could afford a new professional sounding cabinet!

Sound Quality : 10
I use a SWR350 redhead amplifier (pre-Fender) and a Spector NS20004. (Musical instruments. Read the revieuws) The SWR gives 350 or 400 wats with a 4 ohm speaker. Read about the BA410 and the 210. Internet-buying is not hearing. Found a shop that had a papercone 410 and aluminiumcone 410 and 210 cabinets Tested them. The aluminium one lost all its power with high turned down on the bass. The paper cone had all the punch. Bought it. Rehearsed and played a few gigs with a large hifi Dynacord-PA. On rehearsal it turned out to be able to be soft and nice and crisp, really much to loud and nine and crisp, and really really damaging the windows and walls to loud -Wow, finaly back in bussines!
It sounds great for jazz, for reggea, for rock. It can sound as hifi as the Dynacord PA, and perhaps as loud ..

Reliability : 7
It is heavey, so you can easy damage the outside when you're tired at night. Hence the cover.
If the speakers can handle 1200 watts, they must be strong enough, i guess.
have fun!

Customer Support : 7
warranty is via the musicstore where i bought it, they are into working musicians, should be ok.

Overall Rating : 8
Over the years i have used tube amps that melted, peavey, ampeg, dynacord. Really loud with 15 inch speakers. Heavy punk/wave rock mostley. Then i had to use a combo. (big band, jazz and small cars.) The combo-amp gave up after two repairs, but the 15" celestion it had still worked fine. I got away with buying the expensive SWR, and much later the Spector. for the more jazzy-mid sound i figured i would need a 10 speaker. Tried the SWR, Ampeg, Peavey etc. 410', but weird sound and too expensive.
Then came the BA410. Affordable and: It sounds great.

It probably is a bit to big for my needs, but it so good to have a real 410 that makes you feel the basstones.
I might even be o.k. with the 210 version, but 8 ohm gives 200 watt in my amp. Never had the chance to try a papercone version of the 210. A 4ohm 210 would be great for homepractice and small jazz-gigs, i guess..

Just bought this amp recently 2nd hand, but looks brand new. I play in a alternative rock band and it suits my needs.
You can turn the tweeter off via a switch at the back of the cab. It says the cab has a power handling of 1000 watts, though I doubt this is rms wattage. It is more likely to be 300 watts.
It is quite heavey and can be rolled about on its built in wheels.

Sound Quality : 9
The bass sound is incredible. The guy who sold it me worked at a music shop and he said, for the price, the sound quality was outstanding. And i agree.
I play a bongo bass 5 string and it handles that bottom B string with amazing quality!! You can really hear the musicman's characteristics through this cabinet. Ive played a fender jazz through it also and the quality is awesome. Ive got a crappy aria stb series and it makes it sound like a grand bass.
With the tweeter on, it can sound quite hissy, but theres no buzzing!
I just done a gig, and trust me, this beast can go loud without distorting at all!! no joke

Reliability : 10
well ive only just bought it, so i give it a ten for the moment!!

Features : 9
Features:
*1000 watt power handling
*4x10" aluminum cone "Bugera" drivers (4ohm @240 watts according to sticker on back of driver)
*1" horn (plastic construction, mine didn't screw on tightly to lens)
*Foot/panel switchable on tweeter (still can't think of a reason I'd want to footswitch it)
*2x Speakon 1- 1/4" input plus the 1/4" footswitch jack
*well braced MDF construction which is a non-resonant wood compostite that most hi-fi builders use but in my experience doesn't handle road abuse as well as ply.
*silly little edge castors that I still can't figure an efficiant way of using without installing one of those luggeg type pull out handles.
*Plastic side handles that are placed a little low for lifting a 102 lbs cab from the ground.
*plastic corners and the standard carpet covering
*steel grill with plasic standoffs (grill fits very tightly- a good thing)

Sound Quality : 7
My normal signal chain goes from either one of my Ibanez or Spector basses (all active EMG equiped with the BQC preamps) into an AKG WMS 400 wireless, through a Sabine RT7100 tuner to a Hartke 7000 head with a Samson Optocomp in the effects loop (very minimal threshold and attack) out to the BA410 and a Hartke 215xl cabinet (running full range without biamp crossover).

Using the speaker blend knob, I can a/b the 410 with the 215 to evaluate the low end response, not a particularly fair comparison, but I don't have one of the hartke 410's to compare to only the 2.5xl cab that the Behringer is trying out to replace.

I did buy this cab to replace the hartke 2.5 cab I'm currently running along with the 215 cab in the hopes of possibly buying a second 410 to replace the 215 if the low end was sufficient.
*For reference, I play in a heavy metal/hard rock band using various 4 and five strings all strung up with low B strings.*
Ok, now to the actual sound and comparisons:
Sound was good, punchy and loud. I did run the cab with the horn on, the clarity was good and low-end extension reasonable, but not phenominal. I'm going to compare this cab to the hartke 4.5xl cab because to me that's the best comparison to make for me, now to find one locally to a/b them.

The BA410 is a very good cabinet for the price with good features, but doesn't quite fit my playing style and needs for an all in one cab solution. Don't get me wrong, I will keep the cab for the practice house, but I don't think it will be going out on the road anytime soon.

Reliability : No Opinion
The only worries are the plastic horn falling off the lens and the somewhat non-roadworthyness of the MDF cabinet.

A note about the MDF cab, it is crossbraced and reinforced so that might not be a problem.

I haven't had the cab quite long enough to rate this fairly, only initial impressions.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never delt with them.

Overall Rating : 8
I believe this would be a very nice cab for anyone playing a standard-tuned 4 string, but I found the low B to be lacking sufficient punch and depth for me.

I really wanted a Hartke 4.5xl cab (nearly 2x the price) and will most likely head to head the two cabinets to see if the 4.5 will even give me what I want (the listed low end response on the hartke is 30hz as opposed to the 40hz listed for the Behringer which is nearly half an octave lower response)

If this cabinet were to be stoled, I'd take my insurance check and put it to a hartke cab. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice sounding cabinet especially including the price- just not exactly what I want.

Bought it together with the BX3000t head, also Behringer. At first I had a few problems because of the noise. But when having the horn switched out and less trebble it's ok.
For this price, you can't beat it...

4 x 10 aluminium cones and a 2" tweeter 1000watt (but i think its more like 300 if you go by sound quality)

Sound Quality : 7
I have a Ampeg svt classic amp this cab has good range and i can get the sounds i want clear and loud, but it if you want good sound at a high volume you'll need two of these or better yet the ampeg 8 x 10 can, but i blow all my money on the amp and for 320 euro this it the best you can get.

Reliability : No Opinion
No problems so far but its only a moth old.

non needed as yet.
