Not many speaker cabinets have features other than, well, speakers. This one has speakon connectors, which is nice. There is also a (foot) switchable tweeter. I would rather see an attenuator knob for the tweeter rather than the foot switch. A foot switch for the tweeter makes little sense to me. The cabinet weighs a TON. It is made of particle board, rather than plywood. I think that might contribute to the midrange overload (see next section.) The speakers are 300W wired in parallel. I am considering switching these things, (which also weigh a TON) with lighter EMINENCE BASSLITE CH2010 from usspeaker. Also, I HATE the goofy gold plastic rings around the speakers and the tweeter. I took the rings off the speakers. I will likey replace the tweeter too just because it looks soooo goofy! When on, the tweeter gives far too much highend for my taste, anyway.
One last comment. The handles extend a bit off the side of the cabinet. Because of this, the cabinet seems to rock around a bit when I put the thing on its side. (I do this alot because I have precious little space when playing with a 19 piece big band. I recently purchased some small "feet" to try and stablize the cabinet when it is resting on it's side.

I play jazz (big band and combo) and rock. My other cabinet is a Hartke 4x10 with paper cones. I love the sound of that cabinet, but it is too heavy and big for some of the gigs I play. The sound of the Behringer, in my opinion, is where this cabinet falls down. The sounds is pretty bad when played with my Hartke 3500 set flat. I have started using a tube pre-amp to try and get something out of this box that is passable. There is NO acoustic wadding inside the cabinet itself, and the overall sound reeks of yucky upper mids (like talking while holding your nose.) The sound port in the front seems to be a bit too small as well. When you open this thing up, it is just a big empty box. I am going to try and add some acoustic wadding to this thing to try and absorb some of the unwanted mids. If that doesn't work, I may try adding more in the way of porting. My last resort will be to replace the speakers with lighter weigh Eminence speakers. (see above)

I was looking for a nice lightweight good sounding 2x10 cabinet that didn't break the bank. This cabinet, while very cheap, has fallen very short of my hopes in terms of sound. It is very heavy and the sound is not good at all. I would recommend spending the money on a nicer cabient by Mark Bass, GK, Ampeg, or Hartke. I also removed all the name plates on front. I am not real proud of the fact that I am playing my >$3000 modulus through a <$200 Behringer.

I think it was made in 2005. The tweeter gives a nice crisp top, it's also switchable depending on what you are playing. I am a tall person so dragging this around using the wheels is tough. I just carry it. At 70+ LBs that can be a bit of a chore. Very basic, straight forward

I play with a pick. I don't slap at all so I can't vouch for that, but I have no problem cutting through a full band and making myself known. I run a GK head through this and it sounds great. I have a Yamaha 5 and an Ibanex 4 and you can hear the difference when playing each. Lots of rumble, but not too much. I gig with it at least two times per week and it is holding up well. The cabinet itself is a monster, it will probably outlast me.

I have beat the heck out of this thing. It has rolled down two flights of stairs, had beer poured all over it, an electrical spike, you name it. It's amazing what can happen in clubs. This things has held up like a chanp. I said before, I don't slap so I cannot say that the speakers can take violent abuse.

Haven't had to deal with them yet, but here is a fun tip. If you pick up this at a chain music store, get the warranty. At most of those stores if the item is under 200 bucks they will just replace it, not try to fix it. For an extra 25 bucks I have nothing to worry about for two years.

I love it, I am picking up the 115 this weekend. It sounds great for a workingman's cab. You can't beat the price. Sure there are better sounding cabs out there, but I get compliments at every show about how good it sounds. The quality in the sounds is all in the quality and style of the player. If I slapped I would probably not go for this, as you would need a sturdier cone (poly).

2 10 inch cones and a horn in a ported box. Bugera? cones, who he? On off switch for the horn, I'd prefer an adjustable horn.

Bought it as an emergency stand in, couldn't believe how cheap it was. Sounds ok, but without the low mid punch of say a SWR 2X10. I'm going to replace the cones with something a bit more gutsy either by eminence or celestion, the box itself is built like a tank, rock solid and is worth the money on it's own.

I bought this speaker to use together with my THD Univalve in its clean mode. I play guitar (strat) and bass and needed a ported cabinet to enhance the bass response. I'm also planning to use a Celestion Blue 12" in an open back cabinet for the crunchy sounds. The Behringer sounds great (for its price. I didn't even compare with cabinets costing twice or three times as much.) The horn adds a great deal of punch, the bass is deep and clean and most important, no hearing fatigue, as my setup has plenty of headroom! (a 15 watt amplifier with a 600 watt rated cabinet!) Very musical speaker, overtones from my valve amp sparkle through as diamond raindrops. Inspiring setup, higly recomendable.

For this price, I didn't doubt for a second. I could even consider swapping/adding speakers (a Jensen P12R alnico or celestian blue is on my shopping list) Neat cabinet! Good musical sound, i would buy it again, maybe adding the 15" BB115 to deepen the bass
