The cab is extremely powerful and versatile. When i played it at the music store I spent some time with different basses and heads. It rolled with the punches every time. I check out everything from a classic rock sound with a fender p bass to a beefier drop tuned metal sound with an ibanez. I was nothing short of impressed!

I play in a metal band. This is exactly what i was looking for in a cab. It cuts through the guitars perfectly. I play a 5 string with the low string tuned down to G. This cab handles it no problem. I used to play with an ampeg 8 x 10 and I can honestly say for the style of music I play this cab works much better. I don't care what anyone says the ampeg cannot handle anything lower than 55hz. It made the worst farting sound I have ever heard when I played the low string. The only reason for the 8 rating is because I find the mid range of the cab lacking. It has very good lows and highs though.

No Opinion
I have only had the cab for two days now. I really don't know what the reliability of this cab will be. I hate the placement of the handles. Its a terrible design. That person should be shot. I think I am going to add a handle like my ampeg had on it. I think that will fix the problem. That thing is a beast!!! Heavy as hell!!

Again I have no experience with behringer products so I don't have an opinion on that.

There is no better cab on the market for the price. I paid less than $500 for it. I have owned and play A LOT of cabs throughout the years and I have to admit this is one of my favorites.

I am using a set-neck 5 string bass guitar tuned in C -- which means that my B string is tuned in G ahah -- I have a SWR SM-500 plugged with speakon cable directly in the cab and it's LOUD ! Man was I on my arse when I finished waiting for my amp to heat my pre-amp tube lamp ! I play in a doom metal/old hardcore/ambient band and it's just perfection ! No need to get that 8x10 Ampeg refrigerator or Marshall. With that behemoth, you just almost get a hard on ! All my notes are defined, I can hear everything I play ! I loved my BB410 I had for a year but I just falled in love with my new toy

Okay, it's heavy as hell !!!!! Made sturdy ? Yes, that's obvious but it's a pain in the ass to move that beast around even though Behringer has included some casters, three handles (one behind, so you can pull the cab towards you)

Behringer copies on high-end brands to make their stuff but it worths it because you pay less and you get so much ! The two times I wrote to them (wanted to know if it was rms or peak power), I got a fast answer.

I have been playing since I was 12, I am now thirty; come on, do the math hahaha. Using my bass with a SWR SM-500 (THE AMP MAN) if it was stolen... well I would like to see someone try to because of its weight ! I feel like I am pushing my notes through a more expensive cab and am really satisfied. I would have liked it to have a horn attenuator as you can find on SWR cabs for instance.

Cabinet consisting of eight Bugera paper cone speakers.Built of 3/4" and 1" MDF.Well braced for a lot of rigidity.Quit heavy at 176 lbs.Features are simple: back panel with one jack connector and two speakon connectors. No volume pad for the tweeter only a on/off switch.
Too small caster for tilt back.Could be improved.Requires a vey flat surface to move it. Prepare yourself to buy a set of real casters just like I did.

My setup consists of this cabinet connected to a Peavey max preamp and Bridged Behringer EP2500 amp. I get a very good punchy and clean sound running almost flat EQ, I even cut a bit of low end (40)for a better clarity. You also get all the low ends required to shake the house.Surprisingly sensitive I don't need much power to cut throught the mix. I would specify this cabinet more at 1200w rms. I also use another tube preamp. for my Taurus bass pedals and this cabinet handles it like a king!

I opened it to check the inside and found a very good construction.Yes it's made of MDF and not of birch but what do you expect of a very unexpensive cabinet. The speakers are well assembled and did not find any loose screws.Very sturdy handles. The carpet cover is fine. The plastic corners could be better. It fits in the back of my car (hatchback), and if you take good care and move it a normal way. this cabinet should last for years.

At this price, it's a very good deal. If weight and size is not an issue for you I recommend it. for musicians on limted budget, it's a very good compromise. If I have it stolen, yes I buy another one. It's probably not made for the professionnal musicians.but it's an excellent entry level product.Probably better than some top brand compagnies.
