I have only been playing for a few months on a low end bass and amp I bought from a friend. My old amp died and wasnt worth repairing.
The bass I have I know very little about, but can tell that it is pretty low end and could use some fixing. Sounded allright on the old amp but...
Sounds complately new on the BX300. Loud, punching sound. I had the volume knob on 1 (out of 7) and turned the bass down to 25% only because it was
10pm and I have neighbors that can hear everything. The thing still rattled the collection of beer bottle on the wall.
I have yet to take it to full volume, but can't wait to see the potential. There is some sort of circuitry in the amp that helps it maintain clarity at high volume.

Im really not sure how an amp this size and price could possibly sound better.

Reliability : No Opinion
Like I said before, this thing is solid. Weighs maybe 30 pounds. Solid Slate, fully enclosed speaker.
I have only had for a day, but I expect it to last for a long time unless I really abuse it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
1 year warranty.
Behringer is a reliable manufacturer so I dont expect any hassles.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for a few months, focusing on funk and jazz. Pretty much I drill myself on the basics with the hope of moving on towards alot of
improvisation. So this is a practice amp, but It could probably keep up with playing with other musicians unless they had huge amps or beat their drums like
they are possesed.
I admit it, I don't know much and my bass is a POS but... it doesn't sound like a POS anymore and I have alot more control over my sound. The one knob on
the bass that previously never changed the sound at all actually works now and makes a profound difference on the tone. I do however, have a knack for finding
excellent products at good prices on the interent such as a 200+ designer Hemp sport coat for 15 bucks.
If lost or stolen I would definately buy another one for a practice amp, no doubt about it.
I don't thing Behringer cut any corners making this amp.
Oh and I had to take the bus to get to the FedEx depot in Pittsburgh (not a pleasant area), walk around looking for the next bus in 20 degress weather + wind,
lugging this bad boy around. It was definately worth the journey, no thanks to FedEx.

I wish that it came with a 1 hour tutoring session with Ron Carter or Chris Wood.
