2006 model made in China. Lots of tonal possibilitiew here. Same features as listed previously. Tone pots are actually very affective. A longer power cord would be nice. Strictly a home practice amp, very small coffee house venue with no drums maybe. I am a lead guitar player actually and this amp has plenty of power for what I need.

Fender short scale Batz-Maru, love that crazy penguin shaped pick guard, w/one single coil pup. Works well w/ rock, blues, r & b. Surprisingly quiet for the price. Very punchy with lots of bottom. Stays clean without any break-up.

I've got another Behringer practice amp, GX-110, that has performed flawlessly for over a year now. More bang for the buck in the practice amp market than Fender or Crate. No back up needed for the size of gig this would handle.

My Behringer products have been very reliable... so far. Have not any need for CS.

Been playing 30 plus years and have bought, sold and traded more than my share of gear over the years. Would replace in a heart beat. Love the small size, bang for the buck and the funky-kinda-retro-vibe-thang! As previously stated needs a longer cord and the jeweled indicator lamp w/ toggle switch would add to the retro thang. If you need a practice amp you need to chack out Behringer.

This is a 2006 model that I got at GC a week ago. I recently purchased a bass and amp to use at the studio but wanted a small amp for use at home for practice. Basically 1 channel 15 solid state watts and an 8 inch driver. Gain/Treb/Mid/Bass an on/off switch and input on the top with RCA left and right in and out and a headphone jack on the back pannel. Nice smooth vinyl on the outside and for what it is (for practice or use with non-drum gatherings) it is perfect. Very nice looking also. Just a couple comments:I thought it was funny that the box listed it as an "Authentic 15-watt retro bass combo", glad I didn't get a fake! And as far as "Retro" goes, they should have use an old stick on/off switch and a jewel indicator light instead of the modern rocker switch and green LED. (Sigh...Oh well, the leather strap is nice too) bottom line: good amp, great value.

I use this amp with a Fender Squire Bronco short-scale bass in a stock configuration. The guys I play with play mostly Garage/grunge and anything else that strikes our fancy. The amp has a good amount of heft to it. It's not heavy but solid feeling. The sound is crystal clear all the way to "10" but stops adding 'oomph' at around 8 but as a plus there is no vibration or speaker farts. Extreamly quiet even at "10". The tone controls are all very effective and you can get from clean and bright to dark and muddy. And here's the kicker, this thing sounds great with my guitars too. So when my wife wants to monopolize my Create V8 I can double this amp for use to practice with her.

Did someone say "Gig"? LOL. I would use it for something small with no drums or miked for limited stage use. No backup? Would you drive 1000 miles with no spare tire? ALWAYS travel with a backup if you are doing serious work. Since I am really a lead guitar player, I don't see any of my bass riggs going to the stage. But if I did, this would make an excelent small venue backup if it is miked. Since it is solid state I don't forsee any major problems and at $65 I could get another easily.

Havn't needed to wory about it so far. The amp is designed in Germany and built in China (Like so much electronic fare). It has a 1 year warranty that says it is basically void if you don't return the warranty card within 14 days so I must give points off to them for such elementary school strictness.

I have been playing guitar for about 38 years since I was 9 years old and bass for about 3 months. Overall I really like this amp. It is flexable and suites my needs to a tee. I would like to see the switch and indicator lights replaced to make it truly look retro but what ya' gonna' do? If this amp dies I will order a Guytronix class "A" 8-watt kit and build it into the cabinet. If it were stolen or destroyed I would replace it. the affordability makes it great for a beginner too.
