Features : 3
A small amount of bells and whistles that change a flat toned amp with no power or volume to compete with a practice amp.Very noisy and muddy.

Sound Quality : 1
Has no balls,no volume and as stated noisy, muddy and flat.

Reliability : 2
Built like a piece of junk.Has a spare fuse in the back with no fuse inside the amp.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not worth fixing except to rook someone else into buying it.

Features are explained elsewhere. The features do give me the versatility to get the sounds I want, but keep in mind it is a pretty basic rig. The bass and high buttons are a nice little feature for when you need a little extra.

Sound Quality : 8
I play in a rock band (www.theparticleseven.com) that demands punchy sounds that can cut through loud guitars. The amp, for the most part, delivers. It can distort a little at high levels, but this really depends on your cabinet setup. It is not noisy, however. It can compete and sound good in practice or small gig.

Reliability : 8
Unlike a lot of complainers on here, my Carvin has been a workhorse. It has taken quite a bit of abuse (playing loud, transporting, etc.), and I have never had a major problem of any kind. I use it and don't have a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with.

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing for 15 years--had this head for 3. This amp is not the greatest thing in the world (duh, see the price/power), but it is a solid, reliable amp for practicing with band and playing in small gigs (bars). I don't mic it or anything. If gone, I would buy whatever I could afford. For the money, this amp does well.
