I think it was made in the nineties. It is suitable for any kind of music especially bluesrock, funkrock, pop etc. The music I play is a kind of mixture of southern rock, bluesrock and rock and roll.
Input 0 and - 15 dB,Pre-Shape,Low Boost Switch,Equalization (7 band),High Boost Switch. Nice features to create most sounds. The amp has a lot of power (200 watts @ 4 ohm) and beats drums and two guitarplayers.
My cabinets are also crate 4x10" and 1x15"

I use a Squire precision SQ series bass with an extra jazz pick-up. All the pick-ups are active EMG's. My second bass is a Fenix fretless Jazz bass. This bass is all standard. Amplification of both basses is great and suits my music style very well. Since I own this amplifier I can concentrate on technique in stead of working my fingers to the bone.
The only thing it is missing is a tube or two.

Never had to repair it. All parts are from SLM electronics, just like the Ampeg stuff.

Great amplifier. To solve the "tubeproblem" (if there is any) I use an Ampeg B1 as a pre-amp. Two tubes with a nice warm sound.

This amp was made in the mid 90s I believe.
This is a 200 watt into 4ohms bass amplifier.
Plenty of power, I can be heard over the guitar and drums.
This is a solid-state amplifier that can handle 2 bass cabinets.
Controls are as follows...
Odb 1/4 inch input jack
15bd 1/4 inch input jack (for active pickups)
Gain control (red peak light besides it)
Pre-Shape (sort of a master tone control)
Low Boost Switch
Equalization (7 band)
High Boost Switch
Master Volume (green limit light besides it)
Effects Loop (1/4 inch in and out)
Line Out volume control
Balanced Output (XLR)
Power on light
Power Switch
On back
2 Speaker jacks
Power amp in, and Preamp out jacks. (all 1/4 inch).

I played everything from blues to hard rock and metal.
When you use the contour control, low boost and graphic equalizer it will enhance your bass sound.

Never had any problems with it for 8 years now. Played a whole weekend without turing it off. Really made it cook by playing long jam sessions, as long as 7 hours. I kept it clean and covered it when it wasn't used.

Never dealt with the company but I hear they are made by SLM.
SLM is the maker of the famous Ampeg Bass Amps.

I been playing for over 20 years and tried many combinations of bass guitars, amps and speakers. The only problem is the head cabinet, it's covered with black carpet. You really need to clean and vacuum it often. I would prefer the vinyl tolex covering for easy maintenance. If it were stolen I would replace it right away. If you can't afford the Ampeg line then this will do nicely.
