i think this bass amp is a 1984 i bought it off of my friend for 70 bucks.the amp has 150 watts of power through a single 15 inch speaker. The amp has two imput jacks one regular and one that regulates 6db's, it has gain master-volume high med low tone wormth precence and amp regulater control's.

Sound Quality : 9
I use an Ibenez gsr-190 and a fender p-bass with this amp. This amp suits my music sytle just fine I play multiple music styles ska, punk, blues, metal, classic, and funk and this amp works just fine. I like it for its low end and mid range and when i use distortion and a old ibenez yellow flanger. its fairly quiet and sounds the same at all level of sound.

Reliability : 9
this amp is still sounding strong after 20 years of useige, the amp hasnt broken down on me and i bet it wont. Its strong and sounds good when i practice with my band and can go loud nuff so you can hear it playing with a marshall stack and blend in.

Customer Support : No Opinion

I believe this is a 1984 model,2 channel,2 input, bright switch,8 knobs.150 watts of clean sound easily equalized with primary and final controls.Gain control I'm still experimenting with, plus master and apm limiter. This amp is heavy with well attached handles on side.Plenty of window rattling thumped out volume.Very little in the effects department.

Sound Quality : 8
I use this thing for drum effects from a cheap keyboard,it does move a lot of air.I also mike a Leslie speaker through it,killer sustain.I also use it for an acoustic amp,the clean power tells me to save my money rather than buy an overpriced dedicated acoustic amp. This thing does it all,get the sound effects you want, then run them through this thing for power and projection with faithful reproduction.I also use it for a PA,good voice projection.I cant believe the low prices for these things when they show up(200 dollars)they seem kind of rare but if you find one in good condition get it!

Reliability : 10
My father in law run a music store in the 80's,when he went out he brought this amp home along with a Fender Champ and a PA system.I finally bought it off my ex-wife for 200 dollars,I'll be it doesnt have 20 hours on it.This thing is a 1984 virgin,if it breaks it will be from sitting around in storage corroding, not from play.It is very quiet.

No manuals for this rare beast available online,I'll be calling the Crate number soon for a manual.

I learned on this thing in 84 playing a Aria Pro 2 Bass before my wife absconded,I wanted to get it back for 20 years and finally did.I am trying to put together a cheap ensemble in a bedroom studio to record some songs I've written over the years.I have a Baja Piranaha(new,blue,89 dollars, great guitar!)a Cort acoustic(40 dollars,E-bay)a 1962 Hoyer flatop that was my brothers(I put a E-bay Martin neck on it)and a homemade Leslie speaker(e-bay organ guts,60 dollars)powered by a new Marshall MG-15dfx(music123,150 dollars)Right now I record through a karaoke machine with three radio shack mikes,I intend to get a Tascam and a Marshall tube mike soon.I wish I had a Chet Atkins SST,a Epiphone 160 John Lennon, and a Gretsch Pro jet.And I will.No one can steal it,I am installing a metal door to this bedroom to keep all this valuable stuff safe.
