I have found that the DR bass cabs can handle the versatile styles that I play and teach. The 2008 1260 slant this is a great bass cab, By having the speaker angled is a great concept with out it being a kick back design. It allows the player to hear the bass coming at them instead of first bouncing off the back wall. The controls are mounted on the side of the 1260 to ease dialing in the right amount of highs out of the 8" mid and tweeter each has its own individual control. This 112 would work great as a stand alone cab but by paring it with the 112lf you have a great system that rivals other more costly cabs. The 112lf is a side ported low freq. cab. I have found it to be clean and clear in the reproducing the overtones and fundamentals of my lowest notes or the highs of my harmonics.

Hmm! these cabs remind me a lot of my old El Whappo Jr very clean and clear not a lot of distortion at high volume and most important is how clean they are at low volume I would give it a A- it has balls and it can be sweet too.
