Four 10 inch speakers an a tweeter in a box, a grill, two handles, two speakon plugs and a tweeter attenuator at the back. Nothing special - can't think of anything more.

1976-2009: this is finally it. Bottom, punch, articulate, tight, natural sounding, you name it. This cab changed my life. Wish I could put 11 here.

No problems yet. Volume control goes to 11 - I usually set it at 2 or 3 max, would surprise me to blow speakers with this settings. Construction is like concrete. Weight also :-(

Once the on/off light in the Fafner died. I sent EBS a mail to ask for the specs, thinking of purchasing a bulb somewhere. They sent me a box with a new bulb and a spare one week later. Free of charge.

I have played bass sinds 1976. Had lots of gear, and I have been chasing the sound of my dreams since day one. Have always played Fender J and P basses.
Six years ago bought the EBS Fafner and loved it from day one. I used the Fafner with a Goliath III, because in my opnion this was best and deepest sounding combination (stupid me). Bought a EBS Gorm 2x10 combo two years later, and was very pleased to use this one for rehearsals. Small fellow but punched thru the mix and surprising buttom for such a small combo. I still use it wherever the occasion allows me to use a small amp (I am nearly 50 now). So using and liking the Gorm so much, made me reconsider trying the Fafner head again in combination with the EBS410 cabinet instead of the Goliath: after all these many years of not being happy with my bass sound this is finally it. I mean it. Bottom, punch, articulate, tight, you name it. This combination changed my life. I play all kinds of music, but 60s and 70s funk is what my heart beats for.

the cabinet was made in 2003.
i play different styles of music, from r'n'r to jazz, this cabinet happens to suit my needs - small enough to fit in a trunk of a VW polo, loud enough for every gig. also know many people using it, playing different styles, using other amps and basses. all satisfied (yeah, except for the weight -> 41kg)
it has both speakon and 1/4" connectors. also equipped with pot that adjusts the horn, usable if using more than one cabinet - you can turn the horn off; or you might want to hear just the four tens when using it solo...
RMS 800, impedance 4Ohm.
the cabinet is really sturdy, has firm handles (great, because you need help moving the thing) and is covered in felt that is far more durable than some finishes other manufacturers use. front ported.
13-ply birch? it's darn heavy, hence the 9.

fingerstyle (yeah, fat funk grooves), slap (sharp like an axe, shaking the ground at the same time) and tap (cutting trough the mix, just what i need) - combined with ebs hd350 and mm stingray5 it really produces some nice sounds. as RMS is stated at 800W i cannot say if it distorts when you crank it up near its limit. but driven with hd350 it has really nice and clean sound. some may say it's too hi-tech, to me it is just transparent - not affecting your sound but reproducing it as close as possible. i think it has good frequency response, did not have to adjust the horn.

never broke down, it's still under its five-year warranty.

of course i tried it before buying it, but those cabs were sold really fast. when i decided to buy an ebs rig, the dealer in my country (slovenia, EU) was (surprisingly) not really into business, so he kept me waiting for couple of months. after that i just went and wrote an e-mail to ebs (using the support e-mail address), complaining how hard it is to get the cab here. the answer came after a week or so, but it's because of their spam filters (as i checked the source of the mail - it rated my e-mail 90% possibility of spam). well, sales manager got it anyway and after that the conversation went on daily basis - he suggested the dealer from italy, that was closest to me. he also contacted the manager there, so that italian dude was already prepared when i contacted him - i was given the phone number of the store in slovenia which usualy orders roland and boss stuff from them. it took them two weeks to get the cab. this is not a really big country and the stores here are not really big because of the market, so this swedish experience is rather nice.
never had it repaired, but would easily find the authorised service center if needed.
the cab has 5-year warranty.

i play bass for 8-9 years now. compared to all other amplification i owned/tried/heard, this is what i wanted for the money.
would buy it again, although reconsider the weight.
before buying it, i tried many different cabs (ashdown, trace, hartke, fender, marshall... some others), but maybe it's because of the combination with the hd350... this is it for me.

Punchy, loud, clear, professional tone with speakers that will take LOTS of power before they overdrive ! A total of 800 watts !
Works great for every style of music from Rock, Blues, Pop to Metal: Smaller Clubs and Large Arenas; Studio and Live. It pumps nice firm lows at loud volumes but stays punchy at low volumes. The tone is clear no matter what and you can hear all the notes well.

EBS has treated me like family since I first met them. Although I haven't had any problems with any of my EBS gear, I know that they are aware of authorized service centers in my area.
The warranty is 5 (!) years !

The loudest, most punchy, versatile, nice looking, sturdy built 4x10" cabinet on the market by far. I'm a full time L.A. Session Player/ Recording Artist/ Instructor. I have played for nearly 20 years and have worked with Quiet Riot, Ricki Hendrix, Takara, Soul Sign as well as members of Foreigner, Ozzy, Elton John, Macy Gray, David Lee Roth, Megadeth, Yngwie, Heart, Dio, Sheena Easton and many more, as well as teaching at Bass Institute of Technology (M.I.) in Hollywood.
I also use the EBS 2x10" cabinet with The HD350 Head and/or The TD650. The quality of The EBS Gear beats all other brands, and believe me, I've owned, recorded, toured and performed with them all

You can play all styles on this one, and the power 800W!! is truly enough for most situations.
I use it a lot for heavy rock 'cause it has a fast response, strong midrange and a deep bass.
The Cab is heavy so you'd better ask a friend to help you loading it :)

I used to play on a Hartke 410 cab but it get's nowhere close to the EBS-cab. Other 4x10 cabs like SWR are to weak for me 'cause I torture my cabs and I've destroyed a couple before I got the EBS-410.
Great in combination with EBS-212 and as head EBS-fafner or TD-650.

I just got the EBS 410 out of the Evolution Proline 2000 cabinet series. It features 4 10" drivers and an adjustable (-infinite to + 3dB) 2" titanium tweeter, 4Ohms impedance and rated 800/1600Watts with a speakon-in and -chain. 2 handlebars allow moving the 41kg cabinet, but watch your back! It is covered in grey felt which according to EBS is "Tear, smear, cigarette and beer resistant." Integrated casters would have been a definite plus considering the weight, otherwise this cab is a dream!!!

Plug in the amp with your favorite bass, turn it on and be prepared to be hooked immediately! I replaced a US manufactured pro series stack comprised of a 2*10 + horn and 1*15 + horn known for their excellent treble and was shocked by the difference. The EBS pulses and lives compared to the other rig, sounds natural and transparent but can be extremely agressive and very, very loud. I still use the 350 watt amp that I have left over from my previous stack, and I played for an hour on my usual volume and was deaf afterwards, the EBS has much higher output than my old rig. I play the cab with almost flat EQ, which was impossible with the old setup where you had to twist and twist to find your tone, and I now get tons of crisp, tight bottom-end with natural highs, nothing muddy as before. THere's no problem dialing-in a reggae sound, there is plenty of bottom, funky finger and slap tones seems to be inbred in this speaker and just blow you away... I never enjoyed playing so much, sometimes wondering whether this is really me sounding so good! EBS recommend to add a 15" for the bottom end on a concert rig, but I'm not sure you need it, Marcus doesn't anyway ;-) This cab is very loud with a 350 Watt amp already, I can't wait to hear it with a Fafner which I should have in a few days.

I mailed EBS for information about an older Fafner head and got a response within a few hours, amazing! I also know quite well the store where I bought the 410 and trust them (even if I had to pay a top price this time), they sold a bunch of EBS gear and said they had no returns so far ...

I've been playing since age 13, I'm almost 36 now, you do the math! I play an Alembic Series 2, Trace Elliot T-Bass, I use a Focusrite Tone Factory and a Boss GT-6B, the amp head is an SWR Bass350. The sound is the best I've heard among the many amps I tried or owned. The weight is, .... well necessary I guess but I hate it, and it doesn't fit into my E-class trunk which is a pain. I would immediately buy it again without hesitation if it was lost or stolen. I tried all 4*10 cabs I could get my hands on before buying this one, but there was no other worthy contender .... and no I am not Swedish as my name would suggest, and I live in France, no relation to EBS or Krisprolls!
If you're planning to try this cab in a store, be prepared to spend some money, it will be hard to leave it behind.
