A very flat response -- studio quality. Not massive mid-range hump.
Produces very deep, clean and defined lows -- flat, clean mids -- warm, musical highs.
Absolutely no distortion from this box whatsoever.
I power it with a WT800 or a WT405, depending on if I am adding cabinets to the rig.
I play one of four basses with it: Alembic Spoiler 4 string, Spector Euro-neck thru 4 string, Modulus Quantum 5 or Modulus Quantum 6.

100% reliable. Built like a tank. I am not worried about anything happening to this cabinet.

I have used Eden customer support for an old WT-800 head I have. I always had prompt service. In in one case they even sent me new volume pots for my head for FREE. How can I not rate this a 10 when I am being sent parts for free?

I obviously love this box. It is a perfect 10 for me. The box rules, if stolen, I would buy it again that day. In fact, I want a second box in order to stack on top of the first one and make a 1x4 tower of 10s.
The D210XST is by far the loudest, cleanest, lowest 210 box you will find on the marker. It will absolutely destroy most other manufacturers 410 boxes.
I also own a Eden D410XLT and a pair of D112XLTs. I power them with either a WT800 or a WT405. With this 210 in my collection, my 410XLT does not get much work. I used the D210XST as a stand-alone for practice or small gigs. Then I just add one or two a D112XLTs if I need the extra coverage. The D210XST sounds amazing when coupled with a D112XLT. The 210XST covers the smooth low range, and the 112XLT mixes in nicely with a pronounced bark.
My next purchase will be the new D210XST with the neo magnets in it. THis will shave 10 lbs off an already incredible box.
One thing I must note -- what the hell is Kevin's deal (user who rated the 210XST low)? Hey Kevin --- this is a bass product in the bass section. Why the hell are you giving it "5s" because it won't work with your keyboards? You totally skew the product's rating because it won't do something it was not made to do in the first place? People take note of this.

Compact and fairly light 2x10 bass cab with adjustable hi-freq horn. 8 Ohms and rated at 500w

This is a very high quality cabinet. It is ported to allow a very deep bass response. It also has a very good bass throw. It will pound chests at 30 yards.
The cabinet would make a very good stand alone cab, although I use it with the Eden Metro combo. I copes with the Pop & Funk I throw its way very nicely. Smooth and unflustered...Pay the extra few quid and get the quality!

Been playing 20 years and this cabinet is very very good. It is very solid and produces a clear and full tone. This cab with never mumble...it doesn't shout...It's like someone that's has years and years of elocution lessons...Clear..precise...and accurate.
Really recommend.

This was the first of many cabs I've owned in the last 13 years. Mine was 8 ohm, 500 watt RMS, and fad the tweeter adjustment. This cab was very light, in fact most guys I knew used (and still use) Eden cabs because of how light they are as well as the sound quality.

The cab would have been great for a crossover setup, but I was running a Mesa Bass 400 plus at the time, so eventually traded it for the Sealed sound of an Ampeg SVT810E. If you're into jazz, or music that requires versatility, this cab makes a good small gig solo, but I recomend running it with 15 or 18 cab. Edens tend to be very loud cabs, and are balanced well. The XLT series seems to be even a step further in this direction, but I don't think Eden was making a 2x10 XLT at that Time.

Used it on several gigs for a good year, and never had a problem with it. The handles seem chinsy, but they last, they jsut look bad after a few months of heavey use.

At the time I had this cab, Eden had impecible customer service, but that was 13 years ago. They're distributor; US Music needs to lay off the hookah and deal with the basics a little better. I recently purchased a Nemesis (by Eden) NC410, and it was not very pleasant.

When I had this cab it wasn't quite what I was looking for at the time, but I still recomended Eden to anyone who wasn't playing punk, metal, or straight ahead rock. It'll work for these, but tight and sealed suit them better. I had sone SWR cabs (4x10, 6x10, and 2x12) that didn't measure up to the Eden experience. This cab has been copied by several other companies, and I believe Eden was supplying speakers for other companies (including Ampeg).

This cab was built in late 2204 or early 2005 as it had speakon connections on the back not the banana plugs. It has a very sensitive tweeter conrol on the back as well that instantly changes the sound of the cab with the slightest change. I play a very broad spectrum of music in the studio as well as live. I use this little cab as a standalone cab about 90% of the gigs I play, and use an wxtra 1X10 eden cab when I need to also. It handles a whopping 720 watts at 2 Ohms.

I use a passive jazz type American bass with this so I need to push the preamp a little more than if I used active pups. I have yet to experience any distortion even when it's pushed to high volumes, It almost has too much low end and sounds best when amp is run flat with no EQ at all.

Have only been using Eden for almost a year and it has yet to let me down. WIll only give a 9 because I've yet to use it more than a year but I should say that I gig alot so it has been used in the short time that I've had it.

A very high 9 only because I've yet to use it for more than a year, after that if all continues as is will change to 10. I played Hartke Amps for more than 10 years and never considered changing until I played through Eden Amps.
This cab is the smallest yet the loudest cab I've ever used. I can actually drive my convertible to gigs now and don't have to haul a 4X10 around. This cab is actually louder and has more low-end than my Hartke 4X10-XL. The 210XST must be heard to be believed. For me the the fact that it only weighs 60 lbs. yet outperforms my 4X10 and has speakon connectors is worth the steep price tag (950.00 List) on this little guy.

Bought this cab 6 months ago, upgrading from a Nemesis 210 combo (nice) to WT330 and 210XST - awesome!
This box produces honest bass down to 30Hz - well that's what the specs say - my 4-string doesn't go below 41Hz, but it has more low-end extension than any of the 15's or 18's I've played in the past.
I needed a compact speaker and I compared lots, focussing on power handling, frequency response and efficiency. Most boxes do 2 out of 3 (the Acmes sound good but are very inefficient. So is Ampeg) This box has 103dB efficiency, more than many 410's.

I play a Warwick Thumb NT and a Jazz fretless. I mainly play jazz & funk.
The 210XST is smoother in the mids than Edens's classic 210XLT. It doesn't sound quite as loud but has more honest lows. If you want a very modern hifi sounding box with serious output, this one is hard to beat.

Check the Eden Forum on their website to see the level of info and support provided by the company. I've had excellent response to my questions. Haven't had any faults or need for service.

I've been playing since the '70's, all sorts of gear, mostly much bigger rigs than this.
This is the most accurate bass speaker I've yet played through (compared to EV, JBL, Ashdown, Ampeg, Trace Elliot, GK, SWR, Fender)
If I start getting bigger gigs and need more sound, I'll buy another 210XST

Before I continue, please take my comments with a grain of salt as I am an organ/keyboard bass player who uses lots of sine wave based patches.
Anyway, when I first got the cabinet I was thrilled at its low frequency extension. In the right room, it really does hit a loud clean 30Hz! However, that's the best I can say about it. The tweeter has a sharp peak around 5kHz that may sound great for bass guitar, but for anything else will kill your ears. Because of that, I had to turn the tweeter almost off, which pretty much dropped the high end response to 3.5kHz. Also, there is a sharp dip around 330Hz which can't be fixed w/o a parametric EQ, and the midrange as a whole is definately not flat. However, if a sound with lots of tone coloration is what you want, then this cabinet will certainly give you that!

Good but not great. I kept getting referred to different people and numbers to get ahold of someone who could help me, but once I did they were helpful.

Probably a great cabinet for most bass guitar players, but not advisable
for jazz/hip-hop organ/keyboard bass players because of its uneven
frequency response. I'm currently trying to sell it and am planning on
getting an Hartke 2200. If you're interested, drop me an email and we'll
negociate! It's in like new condition, and has never had more than 300w
put through it.
